  • Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
  • 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
  • 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
  • Romans 8: 15-16 And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Phone ringing off the hook. Children calling and sharing what is happening in their lives. Spouse needing your attention. Trying to keep the home fires burning. And I spend a lot of time with people who are in need. Plus doing private counseling and just being about my Father God’s business. Doing a lot of things that others may not see are realize I do, but, I am a private person when it comes to the affairs of being a servant and a daughter of Father God.

And as for me let’s add my book publisher needs new manuscript. “Pat, it is time for book 3 in your children’s series. And your 365 day devotional manuscript due now!

I in turn say, “when am I going to fall into the group that does not have to pay fees for my writing, but you pay me to write for you?”

Then they respond, “you are there after book three.”

I go, sure, is that in writing?”

With everything taking place in the last two years, my heart and mine has not even thought about an idea for new children’s book. And yes, I can finish manuscript in about five days for new devotional book, but, trying to chose 365 devotions out of some 4000+, I have written throughout the years can be mind boggling.

And of course the manuscript will be unedited.

Help, Please!!!!! I cry out to “Abba Father….”

But I have the confidence that Father God is a loving father who knows what is best and gives everyone exactly what they need. That is including me, when I cry out, help!!!!!

Each of us has many stops along the way in our journey through life. Sometimes we encounter hardship and pressures of life that makes us wonder if Father God realizes when we feel the pressures of life. But, in His Holy Scriptures, His road map for us, they remind us that He is there and that He always gives us exactly what we need.

There are many times when we feel overwhelmed by the amount of work that we have to get done, which included our own personal needs. When that happens, instead of pressing onward, we need to press on the brakes.

As for me, I will put praise music on and set on my back porch and tell God how much I depend on Him in order to accomplish what I need to do.

Then when I return to my to-do list, things always come together. Somehow, by letting go — and turning to God — I’m able to do whatever needs to be done, when before it seemed impossible.

Because I know that my Father God, Abba Father…. “But my God shall supply all (my) your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:19

And that includes setting my priorities in place for my daily journey that He has set for me to do.
