In The Presence Of Jehovah

All this week, I have awoken and gone to bed with the song, “In His Presence,” in my spirit. The words are as follows:

Chorus:
In the Presence of Jehovah
God almighty, Prince of Peace,
Troubles vanish,
Hearts are mended,
In the presence of the King.

In and out of situations
that tug of war at me,
All day long I struggle
for the answers that I need.
But when I come into His presence
All my questions become clear,
And in that sacred moment
No doubts can interfere.

Chorus:
In the presence of Jehovah,
God Almighty, Prince of Peace,
Troubles vanish, hearts are mended,
In the presence of the King.

Through His love the Lord provided
A place for us to rest,
A place to find the answers,
In our hour of distress.
Now there’s never any reason
For you to give up in despair;
Just slip away and breathe His name,
You will surely find Him there.

Music and Lyrics by Becky Davis and Geron Davis

You may know this song, if so, then sing it, and listen to the words. If you do not know it, just read the words and realize what it is saying.

When you are praising God, or even on your knees in prayer, when you are in His presence, everything will be alright. All your cares, brokenness, troubles and trials will disappear.

Why? Because when you are in the arms of God, you are not trying to deal with these circumstances yourself. You are letting God do His job.

(Psalm 91:1) says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

So, any attacks from the enemy will bounce off your armor. You can rest peaceful knowing where you are in your Heavenly Father’s heart, and He will take care of your attackers.

But, you must stay totally in His presence. Abiding in Him.

This is the simple answer, God keeps ALL of His promises. His word does not lie. God is willing and ready to do His part. And that is to take care of us. Watch over us and as His children, mend our brokenness and make all of our troubles vanish.

So right now, jump into the arms of God. Go into His presence, and let Him love and take care of you.

“Kid’s Do Say The Strangest Things”

“Kid’s Do Say The Strangest Things”

September 21, 1996/rev.2023
“Kid’s Do Say The Strangest Things”
Author: Pat Aman

Joe and I were Children church directors for nearly 15 years. And 4-H Leaders for 10 years. And every church we ministered in that did not have Children’s Ministry we built a program for them.

Now in the last 14 years we have changed ministry to Senior Adults. You know our group that is moving into our so called second childhood.

But working in Children’s Ministry we probably know more about some of the children and their homes than their parents would have wanted people to know. LOL..

But every Sunday, many prayer requests that were spoken we made sure we took the time to pray for each child, their parents, siblings and pets, as requested.

And with children, we found out that we had to pray specifically, word for word, their individually requests. If we forgot one word of their requests they reminded us as we prayed.

Some requests we cried, and some we had to contain our laughter. But to each child their precious sincere requests to Father God, petitioning in child like Faith to hear and answer their requests were never doubted. They knew that everything would be ok. And the next Sunday, they always made sure to share with us how Father God made everything alright.

You know thinking about it now, we never mentioned to anyone, anything outside of that Children’s Church class that had been requested. Once we prayed our faith became strong like those sweet children’s faith. They knew Father God would answer their prayer. Not only the prayers for their family but their doggies, kitties, fish, turtles and birds.

Psalm 127:3, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward.”

Proverbs 20: 7, “The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.”

Proverbs 31:28, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her.”

Isaiah 54: 13, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”

Matthew 19:13-15, “Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’ And He laid hands on them and departed from there.”

Deuteronomy 6: 4-9, (The Greatest Commandment) “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” God blesses us with our children, and He wants us to make sure they grow up in the ways of the Lord. He promises us this reward, if we do raise them to know Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord.

Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

We all know that children do not hold back. They say the truth and honest things and have since the beginning of time. They only learn not to tell the truth when they see and hear adults around them speaking untruthful things.

The Holiday Seasons will soon be here, and I think about my Mama. She was such a loving Woman of God.

I remember before she took her Heavenly Journey Home in 2008 the family always got together. We would try to get her to tell us of all the things in the past. We even video taped her a few times.

Boy! She has some stories on all of her children. And don’t tell me that you do not have some stories also.

Even if you were raised as we were in a Christian home. There is no one perfect, but Jesus Christ. So, let us just have fun and laugh together in the Lord. Even He has a sense of humor. Look in the mirror. He made you and me.

Daddy and Mama had seven children. Ruby, R.A., Frances, Leroy (died at birth), James, William and then surprise to them, 12 years later, me (Pat).

We were all raised in the church, and when they had guest preachers come, Mama was always asked to feed the preacher. And of course they had Fried Chicken.

As the story goes, one of my brothers, (I will not say which one, but he is 12 years older than me. I was the next one born in line after him) made this Sunday Dinner quite an experience.

As the preachers were eating he did not want the preacher to get the last chicken leg. So, he blurted out. “Preacher you don’t want that chicken leg, cause that chicken pooped all over it. Mama just went to the kitchen and wanted to hide there the rest of the day. Because my brother did not say the word pooped. And my brother did not say it plain so it was really funny. Well, that is what I heard, because I was not even born then.

I understand they all had a good laugh, and from what I understand that night at church, the visiting preacher told everyone, make sure they did not eat the last chicken leg when they go to Mama Hunter’s.

I have not heard if he, you know who I am talking about, got a talkin to, or a whupin, as they call it. See, he was just a little fellow, but I do not recall them saying he did not do it anymore.

The funny thing is, how did William (oops) knew that bad word? No one has given me the answer to that yet.

I do know that he did not hear it from my parents.

How do I know that?

Because when Daddy and Mama were first married, Mama would say a little not to nice word every once and awhile. Daddy told her that it was not right for ladies to talk that way, and if she did it again, he was going to wash her mouth out with lye soap. Guess What? She did… and he did.

Then Daddy got some sweet gum off the sweet gum tree to help get the soap taste out of Mama’s mouth.

But out of the 65 years they were married, Daddy never laid a hand on Mama. (Of course, Mama said that if he had, she would have crowned him with an iron skillet). I wonder if that had anything to do with the iron skillet she gave me for a wedding present?

Now, Mama and Daddy got married on December 24, 1929, and Mama turned 15 years old two days later, on the 26th of December. She was just a young girl. So, I guess Daddy helped raise her. Daddy was 20 years old when they married.

Anyway, where is the devotion in this?

Well, there could be a lot of sermons on this topic, but I am going to choose this one. As you read the Bible’s verses above, Father God states directly how we should treat and love our children.

And yes, children want you to talk to them, and listen to them. They want discipline. They want your love.

I have heard people say, my son/daughter is my best friend. Well, that is okay, as long as you are still the parent.

Do not be afraid of reminding them who the parent is. They are God’s gift to you. They will make you laugh, cry and sometimes want to pull your hair out. But just love them, stand by them and sometimes show tough love.

I know after my daughters read this, I will get a call. “Mama you better not tell some of the things we said or did. ” I will say, “you just never know., because we had very open conversations around the table at supper time.”

As Parents have received the highest calling. We are to be holy as Our Father God is holy. Today as we continue to consider parental responsibilities, we come to a verse that has us considering another impossible calling. Our children are a heritage from the Lord, and our calling is to value them as He does.

When many of us consider heritage we are often thinking of an inheritance, a birthright, or even a tradition. However, the point of heritage in this Scripture is placed squarely upon understanding the origin of this heritage. Our children are our responsibility given from the to us from Father God.

As parents there is an overwhelming importance placed on our responsibilities of stewardship. It is not of our own doing that we have these children. They are of Father God and He knits them in the womb. Our children are gifts, and our responsibility as parents toward them is high calling.

Are You Being Deceived

Are You Being Deceived?
Author: Pat Aman..

Matthew 24 says, “For there shall arise false Christ’s, and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders. Insomuch that If it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

This verse shows it is the reason that each of us should stay in the Word.

Before I make my point in this devotional let me say, I know we had to live stream our church services during this time of crisis and that was wonderful. And I understand that there’s home bound individuals that are not capable of leaving home, so live stream is a blessing to them.

With the technology we have today God’s Word is being preached around the world, and many souls have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus.

But, I hear people constantly saying that they are watching difference ministers on every iPad, computer, iPhone, Comcast hour after hour.

Every time I turn around they are sharing with me something that they have heard from ministers somewhere.

They can even quote the message word for word. They are taking every word that is being preached and not even making sure that what they heard is exactly what the Bible says…

But when I ask them to quote a bible verse they have memorized, they cannot do it. When I ask them to tell me a time that they knew God spoke to them, they cannot.

These are the people who are going to get deceived. These are the people who have already been deceived. These are church members, Christian people.

What a sad thing because when they are alone in their homes needing an answer for direction, and needing to hear the voice of God, I promise you a on line minister will not be there for you, but God and His Holy Word, the Bible will be…

We need to turn the off the electronic devices and get the Bible down from the shelf, open it and see what God has to say to us.

The Word of God is what Jesus used to defeat Satan in the wilderness and the Word of God is what will help defeat Satan in our lives.

The Word of God is what will teach us, so that we will not be deceived by false prophets.

Today make a choice to change your life and your circumstances.

Just as Apostle Paul taught Timothy, Bible study and prayer time is important in helping to keep us strong.
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

We must remember 2 Timothy 2:15 is not just a command to study the Bible, being an approved workman involves much more. Paul wanted Timothy to understand that to be a workman that God could approve, he would have to be diligent in his service to God. God is not the kind of Master that accepts shoddy work! By earnestly applying himself in service, Timothy would not need to be ashamed as he stood before God in the day of judgment.

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Remember, Satan himself knows the Bible and quotes it to deceive you. Please study so you will know when you are being deceived

Hard To Love

Hard To Love
Author: Pat Aman

Luke 6:32 (NCV) If you love only the people who love you, what praise
should you get? Even sinners love the people who love them.

Love, ah… it’s easy for us to love each other. We are brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s easy to love members of your family, of your church, and it’s easy to love friends.

But how about the hard-to-love?

What about the person that has wronged you?

The person who has talked bad
about you, spread gossip, rumors?

The person that did you wrong in a
business deal, at school or at a social function?

How about that person you truly feel you can not love anymore, because of the hatred they have shown to you? We all have them, don’t we?

Or am I the only one?

Jesus is saying, “Hey Christians, even the pagans love those who love them. How are you going to show MY Love?”

Notice how the love of Christ turns the “world’s” value system upside-down. The world says, “hate your enemies;” Jesus says love your enemies. But how do we do it?

I remember one time someone ask my daddy, “hey do you like me?” His answer was, “as a human man I do not like your ways, but as a child of God, and my brother in Christ, I love you.” WOW!

Now as the sentence above states, Jesus says love your enemies. But how do we do it?

Ready for the answer?

Hang on to your hats!

Pray. Yes, prayer.

Simple answer yes, but a powerful solution. Pray for that person who has wronged you.

Now don’t go and pray like I used to pray, “Lord get back at that person. Lord, make them pay for what they did to me, or Lord, give me a chance to blow him out!”

You really don’t think God wants us to pray to change God, do you?

Prayer doesn’t change God; it changes us. In my opinion, God uses prayer for two reasons. One — to allow us to participate in His plan and two — to change us. Pray fervently and earnestly for someone that is hard for you to love, and God will change your heart toward that person. God will show you what He Himself sees in that person.

How will the world know us Christ-Followers?

They will know us by our love that flows from our love of Jesus Christ.

John 13:34-35 (NCV) I give you a new command: Love each other. You must
love each other as I have loved you. All people will know that you are my
followers if you love each other.

Tough stuff, but we need to do it, folks and we can do it armed with His love.

Think I will add a prayer to this devotional to help you and me start to realize until we forgive others we continually break Father God’s Words to us.

Matthew 5: 23
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Ephesians 4:32
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Colossians 3:13
Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.

Father God we praise you and thank you for all you do for us. Father God , help us to love the hard to love; help us to see them through the perfect eyes of Jesus. Lord, forgive us for not loving others as You command us to do. Forgive us for falling short of Your mark. Restore us Father God, fill us up with Your Spirit and Your love, so that through us Your love will flow to
others. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

God’s Love

God’s Love
Author: Pastor Pat Aman
Written: 2003rev2016rev2023

Remember God Loves You So Much. You Are His Child. God Will Always Lift His Children Up.

You Are Just His Little Child, Run Into His Arms Now. He Will Hold You And Love You!

Sometimes we seem to go through a period of hurting, struggling, failing, brokenness, a piercing or unrelenting pain, a failure from our past, are maybe so many disappointments we feel that we are all alone.

Maybe we just need forgiveness?

Even there has been something we have tried to fix that escapes our skill?

Maybe disappointed dreams are our best opportunities to look for hope in God and our future. Have reassurance that you are not alone. Seek God. Kneel in His presence. Let Him take all the confusion, discouragement, weariness away. Put it into God’s To Do Box.

Believe that whatever you need in your life; God cares. Just look to God in everything, and know that you will receive a sweet peace from Him. Just bring it to Jesus and I promise you, He will take care of it.

You may feel Father God seems to be far away. Just remember the quote,”The Teacher is always quite during a test.” But, know the teacher never leaves the room. He is always there watching over you.

(Matthew 11:28-29) – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

(John 14:1) Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”

(Isaiah40:29-31) He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

(Isaiah43:2) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

(Psalm71:20) O, God though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; and from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.”

If I can help you, please contact me. I will pray for you daily. And know just as God is there for you, so am I.

Father God Renew My Strength

Father God Renew My Strength
Author: Pastor Pat Aman

I am not sure where the last few days, weeks are month has gone, but, I seem to be a few days behind.

A good friend of mine had to set me straight. She reminded me that it is not August anymore. In other words, I do not even know where August went are when September arrived.

I know the last few weeks have been busy. I realized I was not going by month, but by day. As they say, “One Day At A Time.”

I think when this happens is when we “I”need to slow down and take a reality break.

I know that if I do not take a Father God and me time, that I will find myself weak, and just making the motions and not truly living a fulfill life as He wants me to live.

I must stop and remember where my strength comes from.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I cannot truly praise my Father God and rejoice in life, if my heart is not totally trusting in what He wants and has for me to do. And if I do not ask for new strength daily, I become weak.

There is a quote that says, “7 Days Without God, Makes One WEAK.”

I will tell you now, one second without Father God, makes you WEAK.

If I really want to live a victorious life promised, I must learn to completely faith in Father God and His abilities. This is a difficult task when I get to busy to stop and ask Him for direction.

True strength must start and end with our Heavenly Father. It is the power and strength that comes from Him that carries us on.

As children of God we need to surrender to the strength that He provides and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

It is not your are my strength that is needed, but the strength that Our Heavenly Father offers us everyday.

I want to ask you a simple question, are you ready to be renewed by the everlasting strength from your Father God?????
I know I am!

Revival In Our Souls

Revival In Our Souls
Author: Pat Aman

I remember churches use to have Revival at lest twice a year, we would sing the old song.

“Revive Us Again.” Why? It was time for Revival.

How sad, when we should be singing it everyday. Revive us again, Lord, revive us again.

Then we would not have so many people jumping from one church to another, because when they finally get a true Revival within themselves, they become a happier person and they stop running from church to church searching for something.

WOW!

What a thought, people that experience true Revival and then they are ready to help build the Kingdom of God.

Yes, then they are able to reach the lost and dying world, by staying where God has them and start doing His work. Yes, because they have experienced true Revival.

I have the words to the song at the end of this devotion.

Psalm 85:6 Wilt Thou not Thyself revive us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?

Revival is one of those interesting subjects that everyone talks about, but few understand. It is for this reason that I would like to spend a little time looking at revival historically, and with a view to a response of Christian devotion.

Revival is a phrase that is applied to the spiritual state of a community. A town is said to be in revival.

The mark or evidence of a revival is a escalation or surge in the hearts of individuals with concern over the condition of their souls.

Religious concerns, however, do not make a revival. Revival takes place when those religious concerns are married with a visitation of God’s Spirit, coming to a church, town, community or nation and awakening believers, reclaiming backsliders, and converting sinners.

This is why we can not plan revivals. The greatest misconception regarding revival is that we can have a yearly, or semi-annual revival in April or/and October. Churches fall into this trap all the time. They, in a sense, announce to the congregation that God’s Spirit will visit on this or that weekend in this or that month, and therefore, “we will be having a revival.” On Monday morning, after a planned revival, everything for the individual in the congregation is often back to normal.

This is NOT revival!

Revival is the spontaneous and unplanned, flowing of the Holy Spirit into the lives of the unsuspecting in such power, in such glory, that the world takes notice. In a revival in Windham, Connecticut in the early 1730’s the effect was so extensive, so pervasive, that there was not one household in the town that did not have a member in the local church. Every house was effected. Every person in that town and all the surrounding towns knew that something beyond human design was happening.

Are you in need of revival?

As noted above, revival awakens believers who have become comfortable in their circumstances and walk with the Lord, it reclaims backsliders, who have fallen into sinful practices and customs, and it converts sinners. Revival does these things to such an extent that in a town that experiences revival, all the bars, gaming houses, and similar dens of sin shut down their operations because there are no patrons.

Everyone of us fits into one of those above categories. We either need to be converted, reclaimed, or awakened. Revival is not something that we can create in ourselves, but we can pray for it. Since we can’t create it, we can attempt to “pray it down.”

Would you like to have all the people in
your town or city concerned with the state of their souls?

Well, then, revival has begun with you, for you know the value of concern for your soul. Go now to the Father God and ask Him for a special visitation of His Spirit upon you, upon your church, your town, your state, your nation!

Asked Father God to “Psalm 51:10-12: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit” “

The. Father God will say to you,”Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you ia new heart, and ia new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Revive Us Again
We praise Thee, O God!
For the Son of Thy love,
For Jesus Who died,
And is now gone above.
Refrain
Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Revive us again.
We praise Thee, O God!
For Thy Spirit of light,
Who hath shown us our Savior,
And scattered our night.
Refrain
All glory and praise
To the Lamb that was slain,
Who hath borne all our sins,
And hath cleansed every stain.
Refrain
All glory and praise
To the God of all grace,
Who hast brought us, and sought us,
And guided our ways.
Refrain
Revive us again;
Fill each heart with Thy love;
May each soul be rekindled
With fire from above.
Refrain

Spiritual Blindness

Spiritual Blindness”
Author: Pastor Pat AH Aman

Spiritual Blindness, oh my gracious, these are Powerful Words.

But, as I look around, I see people walking around in a fog of spiritual blindness, and when they speak their words it shows me just how spiritual blinded they have become in their lives.

As I pondered this question of spiritual blindness, it made me think, am I where I should be in my walk with God? Am I blind to the world around me and the service God has called me into?

I decided without hesitation that I do not know about you, but, I am on assignment for Father God and I am realizing I do not have time for junk are to play games. I do not beat around the bush. If someone needs Jesus, I will share the grace and mercy of His gift of Salvation with them.

I can share with them that they do not have to stay in a state of spiritual blindness.

I can share through my testimony what it is like to walk with dark shades over my eyes. Yes, if my own experience with my own spiritual blindness can help a soul not spend eternity in hell, so be it.

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭9:1-7, 37-38‬

This is a story of blindness. A man had been born blind, forced to spend his entire life begging his livelihood. Then one day Jesus pick up some dirt, spit in it and put the dirt (clay)on his eyes, sent him to wash, and he saw!

I wonder why nobody at all, praised God?

Was it because they were too preoccupied with their own concerns to recognize Father God at work among them?

The disciples were wrapped up in a theological question: Why was this man born blind?

The Pharisees were worried by a legal question: What authority had Jesus to heal, especially on the Sabbath?

The man’s parents were anxious about a personal issue: How can we avoid being ostracized by the synagogue? Even the man himself was initially concerned only with what had happen to him.

This is a story of blindness, all right. Everybody in it is blind, to Jesus. Yet there He is, restoring sight!

I am blind sometimes too, so preoccupied with other issues that I fail to see the work of God around me.

One person in this story give me hope. The man who was once blind finally sees who Jesus really is an immediately he worships Him.

If I focus my own eyes on who Jesus is, will I be able to see what God is doing in the world and in my life, and praise Him for it.
Father God, as I turn my eyes to You, heal my blindness that I may praise You for all You good works. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen and Amen and so be it!!!!

Are You Broken and Scattered?

Are You Broken?
Author: Pat AH Aman
August 1, 2016/2023

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.”
Isaiah 53:1-12

The above scriptures makes me stop and think of the world when Jesus came to earth, and the world now. Look at all the brokenness of mankind.

But, Jesus came into this world to save us from all our sins, transgressions, griefs and infirmities, our brokenness.

The Hebrew word translated griefs (or infirmities) means physical sickness and disease. The one for sorrows means physical and mental pain, anguish, grief, and sorrow .

All of this was taken from us and placed upon Jesus.

He was punished to bring us peace with Father God through salvation, by His blood.
And by His wounds we are healed, physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.

The world is broken. But, as we kneel down and ask for forgiveness of our sins, God will restore us back as His children.

Father God gave His Son Jesus, so all His children could be saved from all their brokenness.

Remember, you may feel like a broken puzzle. You may feel you have missing pieces, and cannot be put back together.

“Today Father God is going to pick up those scattered puzzle pieces of your life. When He puts them back together, you will be the most beautiful puzzle in the world. Father God is the Architect of broken lives. He does not use glue, tape are bandages to repair. He will make your life brand new. He only uses the best building materials. Pat Aman”

So, today, kneel down and look up to your Father God. He is ready to rebuild and restore.

Father God takes broken people and makes beautiful people.

It’s Beginning To Rain

It’s Beginning To Rain

When studying about the latter rain in the Bible we can give two examples of the latter rain. One interpretaion assumes the literal meaning and the other a spiritual meaning of the expression. The first one we would need to learn about the geographic settings and climate of Israel in relation to rain. Geographical settings of Israel has low rainfall and its soil is mainly composed of limestone and sandstone, so it is not easy to even find water underground.

But, today we will look at the Spiritual.

“Then after I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. In those days, I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, men and women alike.” Joel 2:28-29

Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.” Jeremiah 5:24

The Latter Rain.

The prophecy of the former rain was fulfilled by Jesus 2,000 years ago; on the day of Pentecost, Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon His disciples who had all joined together in Jerusalem constantly in prayer for ten days, after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. Then the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit occurred in the early Church; 3,000 people repented in a day, and from then on even more souls were saved.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.… All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit … Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Acts 2:1-47

Praise God, it is beginning to rain. Are you ready for the latter rain. Get ready children of God. Yes, it is beginning to rain. God is pouring His spirit on all who is prepared and ready to receive.

I truly believe the winds of the Holy Spirit are changing direction. The Holy Spirit is pouring the latter rains into the lives of all that are truly seeking God and God’s will for their lives and churches everywhere.
God is calling His chosen people, and He is cleaning house, preparing for the latter rain to fall.

We must remember that the Holy Spirit of the latter rain, which is granted at the time of spiritual harvest, is poured out upon those who are united and ready to receive it’s abundantly.

For those of us who have believe, and have marched the 7th time, and stood fast, we are going to see the latter rain fall. Just remember the smallest cloud can produce the largest rain.

I am ready!

ARE YOU READY???

Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “ There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. (I Kings 18:41-45 NKJV)
