How Big Is God In Your Life?

When I read Joni Erickerson Tadda’s book, there was a story she told about when she went to Africa on a mission trip. When she arrived she met an African Woman who said, “Joni welcome to Africa, where our God is so much bigger, because we need Him more.”
WOW, It made me stop and think. God is just as big in our life, as we let Him be. God also wants to do big things in our lives. We just sometimes do not let Him. God wants us to take a step of faith, so He can bless us. ..
He wants to be BIG, in our lives.
Deuteronomy 28:1-14, is one of the chapters of the Bible that tells us just how God wants to bless us.
He says, ” Now it shall come to pass “IF” you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”
Then the word goes on to tell us that we will be blessed in the city, the fruit of our body will be blessed, our baskets will be full, our enemies will be defeated, God will cause our storehouse to be blessed and everything we set our hands too, and everyone will call us blessed, and the Lord will open His good treasures to give to you, and it will rain on your land, and the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, (PRAISE GOD), and you will be above and not beneath, if you will just heed the commandments of the Lord your God, and observe all these things.
I paraphrased the scripture, but you need to get your Bible down and read the entire 28th chapter, because it also tells you what will happen if you do not keep His commandments.
How much do you need God today? How big do you want God to be in your life? Do you want Him enough, to keep His commandments and do His will and work? Are you ready to be blessed?
Just let God take you in His arms and give you all He wants to. Do not stop God from blessing you today.
Again, how big is God, in your life? Do you need Him more? I know I do.
