“With God’s Presence And Jesus’ P.O.A. You Can Do Anything”

“With God’s Presence And Jesus’ P.O.A. You Can Do Anything”
Author: Pat Aman

Believe that when you come into the presence of Father God you can have all you came for!

“”You can take it away, and you can use it, for all the power of God is at
your disposal in response to your faith.” Evangelist Smith Wiggleworth””

Acts 2: 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.

“Jesus gave us His Power of Attorney to use His Name to do His Work. Are You Working Yet? Pastor Pat Aman”

John 14: 12-14, I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do
what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these,
because I am going to the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring
glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Our lives need to show the same things Jesus’ life did while he was on this earth.

And what did Jesus do? He loved people, he cared for them, he taught them, he healed them, and so much more.

Now understand, we in our human form cannot do anything! But, we can be a vessel that the Holy Spirit works through to do the same things Jesus did while he walked this earth.

Jesus Christ came to earth in human form. He resisted temptation and was without sin. He was tempted in any and every way we are tempted. He was showing us that we should be able to also live in this matter. When Jesus came to this earth, He became in the totally sense of Man. He became man as God fully wanted man to be. There was no discrepancy between God’s will and Jesus’ manner of life. Jesus came and lived daily in an intimate relationship with the Father God. He lived a life in the way His Father God originally intended man to live.
Although Jesus was essentially one with God and in the form of God, He did not think this quality with Father God was a thing to be totally understood and snatched away. He appeared in human form and assumed the life of a servant. Everything Jesus did, every word He spoke, every act, every thought He did as a man, even though He was Father God He was God–man.

“who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians‬ ‭2:6-13‬

There was never anything Jesus said, or did, that was not of Father God’s will. Jesus was the man God fully intended man to be. Jesus said, “He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him”

John 8:29, The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.

Jesus was available to the Father God for Him to do in and through Him He desired. He did only that which pleased the His Father God. Jesus was a man wholly available to the Father for every moment of the thirty–three years He lived on this earth.

You must remember your body is now the temple of the Holy Spirit if you have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. I want you to stand strongly on your Father God’s Holy Scriptures, His Living Word, and understand that if you believe in Jesus Christ he will take up residence in you. And you through your walk and faith in Him will do the things that He did, and even greater things than these, because He went to the Father God.

He came as a man, walked among us, died for us, rose and now sets beside His Father God. And because of this great sacrifice He left with us a Comforter, the Holy Spirit. And Jesus then told us, His disciples that: “I Myself will grant whatever you may ask in My name (presenting all I AM) so that My Father God may be glorified in and through the Me, His Son.

So, if you really love Me you will keep obey My commands.

Are you available to do Father’s God’s work?

Are you ready to complete the assignment He sent you yo earth to do?

If so, then right now, remember Father God’s promises are true. Stand on His word and believe.

Garden of Life

Garden Of Life
Author: Pat Aman

I have the poem “The Garden” written in my Bible. I cannot remember where it came from, except my sister Ruby wrote it in the a Bible of mine that she borrowed for several years.

I think she must have enjoyed the Bible, because it looks like she used it to study a lot.

I tried to get her to keep it, but, because it was given to me as a gift when I was ordained, she wanted me to have it back. I will cherish it for sure.

Galatians 6:1-10
Bear and Share the Burdens

  1. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual
restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest
you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law
of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.

Be Generous and Do Good

6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who
teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap
corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Do You Know Jesus?

(John 3: 16-18
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whosoever
will believe in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
‭‭
“You may know of Jesus, but do you truly know Jesus?

Do you have the head knowledge of Jesus, but not the heart knowledge?

Being good will not get you into Heaven!

You can only have eternal life by the grace of Jesus Christ. You must knowledge Him with your heart. Jesus died so you might live.

If you you cannot truly say that Jesus is your personal Savior, make the decision now to know that you know for sure.

Asked Jesus to come into your heart today. He is just standing at the door knocking, and waiting for you to invite Him in.

Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

“Lord, I Went To Church”
Author: Unknown

I had on new clothes,
New sneakers on my feet.
I was there for class on time,
Went to the back and took my seat.

Yeah, I’m moving up,
I’m already grown.
Soon I’ll be graduating,
And out on my own.

I talked to some of my friends,
We were all having fun.
Said some things I shouldn’t have said.
Did stuff I shouldn’t have done.

I knew I was different..
I felt God touch my heart,
I knew I should set a standard,
But then I’d be set apart.

Walking to the bus,
I was not looking for strength.
I heard the car tires screeching,
But now it’s too late.

I’m standing in this room,
And I can see the heavenly gate..
Oh no! I never prayed.
I thought I had time to get it straight!

An angel walked to me,
He had a book in his hand.
I knew it was the Book of Life,
When would this dream end?

I told him my name,
And he began to look.
Then he looked at me sadly and said,
Your name is not in this book.

Angel, this is a dream,
No, I can’t be dead!
He closed the book and turned away,
He whispered – You cannot proceed ahead.

No…no this can’t be real,
Angel, you can’t turn me away.
Let me talk to God,
Maybe he’ll let me stay.

He led me to the gate,
Jesus came to me.
He did not let me in but said,
Beloved what is your need?

Jesus, I cried, please,
Don’t cast me away from you.
Tears ran down his face as he said,
You knew what you needed to do.

Lord, please I’m young,
I never thought I would die..
I thought I’d have plenty of time,
Death caught me by surprise.

Lord, I went to church, Please Jesus, I believe.
He said you would not accept me,
My love you would not receive.
Lord, there were too many hypocrites. They weren’t being true.

He took a step back and asked,
What does that have to do with you?
Lord, my family claimed to be saved,
They weren’t real. You know.

He said, I died for you,
Now I have to go.
I fell to my knees crying to Him,
Lord, I planned to be real tomorrow.

I couldn’t make Him understand,
I had never felt such sorrow.
Then it hit me hard, I said,
Lord, where will I go?

He looked into my eyes
and said, My child you already know.

Please Jesus, I begged,
The place is so hot.
It seemed to trouble and grieve him,
He whispered while tears were running down His cheeks.
DEPART FROM ME, I KNOW YOU NOT.

Lord, you’re supposed to be love,
How can you send me to damnation?
He replied, With your mouth you said you loved me,
But each day you rejected my salvation.

With that in an instant,
Day turned into night.
I never knew such torture could be,
Now too late, I know the Bible is right.

If I can tell you anything,
Hell has no age.
It is a place of torture,
Separated from God and full of rage.

You know, I thought it was funny, a joke,
But this one thing is true.
If you never accept Jesus Christ,
HELL IS WAITING FOR YOU!

So please, ask Him into your heart.

“Rev 3:15-20″” I know your doings–you are neither cold nor hot; I would that you were old or hot! Accordingly, because you are lukewarm and neither hot norcold, before long I will vomit you out of My mouth. You say, ‘I am rich,
and have wealth stored up, and I stand in need of nothing’, and you do not
know that if there is a wretched creature it is YOU–pitiable, poor,
blind, naked. Therefore I counsel you to buy of Me gold refined in thefire that you may become rich, and white robes to put on, so as to hide your shameful nakedness, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes with, so thatyou may be able to see. All whom I love, I rebuke and chastise; therefore be earnest and repent. I am now standing at the door and am knocking. If any one listens to My voice and opens the door, I will go in to be with him and will feast with him, and he shall feast with Me.”

Yes, Through It All

Yes, Through It All
Author: Pat Aman

Psalm 124: 1 – 8

  1. If the LORD had not been on our side
    let Israel say-
  2. if the LORD had not been on our side
    when men attacked us,
  3. when their anger flared against us,
    they would have swallowed us alive;
  4. the flood would have engulfed us,
the torrent would have swept over us,
  5. the raging waters
    would have swept us away.
  6. Praise be to the LORD,
who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
  7. We have escaped like a bird
    out of the fowler’s snare;
    the snare has been broken,
    and we have escaped.
  8. Our help is in the name of the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

I know that each of you, just as I have, has faced times of life that we thought we would not make it through. But Praise Father God, He was there, -Through It All-

No matter what you are going through know that Father God is with you and will continue to love and protect you.

Remember, Father God knows our innermost thoughts. He knows and understands our struggles, all of them and only He can keep us safe and secure, He shelters under His wings of protection. You are not alone, and you never will be. In your innermost being, He is there. He always has been.

There is a wonderful song I love, and Praise Father God each time I hear it.

It goes, “Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus I’ve learned to trust in God, Through it all, through it all, I’ve learned to depend upon His Word

How Are You Dealing With Change?

How Are You Dealing With Change?
Author: Pat AH Aman

Is your way of dealing with life and change helping or hurting others?

We must learn to be content.
We need to serve others with our hearts.
Help inspire others to reach their golds.

The world has continued to change, but, we are more aware because of the change because of the news, social media and all the technology we have at our hands to use.

I will say now, I will never judge you for your opinions, whether they are right or wrong. And I will pray you will not judge me if my opinions are right or wrong.

Now, I will stand up for the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, the Word that came to earth to live. I will never compromise the Word of God.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Paul knew that for those who believed, the Gospel unleashed the power of God! He was in fact declaring that when faith is mixed with the Gospel and declared, it releases divine energy that the gates of hell cannot prevail.

When I find myself in a bad situation because of the hurtful beliefs, opinions and actions of people, I may be tempted be alone. To just close the doors of my house and heart and say, forget it.

But, I in turn STOP, and get Father God’s Word down and inhale the POWER of His word that is continually at work within me.

The word “power” in the Greek word is dunamis, a word that is denoted as strength.

When I do this then I do not have the time for Satan to put thoughts of angry, judgement and hatred in my sub-conscience towards other people. Because the power, the dunamis, the strength of Father God engulfs my entire being.

I now asked you this question, how is the uncertainty of the world around you causing you to treat others?

We all need to let our lives reflect Jesus Christ in our entire being.

Now what I am fixing to say, please read each word. I am not being ugly or opinionated. But, if it is not written in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, really all our personal worldly opinions are worth nothing at all. They are just our opinion.

Only Father God knows the future. Only Father God knows the plans He has for us.

And in His Word, He had apostle John himself through the Holy Spirit say,
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

So, please respect yourself by respecting others.

And if you asked my opinion, I will do my best to make sure it is embedded with the Word of God.

And Father God will judge each of us on Judgment Day.

“You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.”

Whose Your Daddy?

Whose Your Daddy?
Author; Pat Aman

I am repeating this devotional today to remind not only you, but myself, who our Heavenly Father God is in our lives.

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:48-49‬ ‭“As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”

Colossians 1:12
(We are) giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a h

As I am thinking about the many blessings that our Father God bestows on us, I want to share a story and a little history. I do not remember who wrote this story, but it is worth sharing with you.

A Seminary professor was vacationing with his wife in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. One morning, they went for breakfast at a little restaurant, hoping to enjoy a quiet, family meal. While they were waiting for their food, they noticed a distinguished looking, white haired man moving from table to table, visiting with the guests. The professor leaned over and whispered to his wife, “I hope he doesn’t come over here.” But sure enough, the man did come over to their table.

“Where are you folks from?” he asked in a friendly voice.

“Oklahoma,” they answered.

“Great to have you here in Tennessee,” the stranger said.

“What do you do for a living?”

“I teach at a seminary,” the professor replied.

“Oh, so you teach preachers how to preach, do you? Well, I’ve got a really good story for you.”

And with that, the gentleman pulled up a chair and sat down at the table with the couple.

The professor groaned and thought to himself, “Great, just what I need–another preacher story!”

The man started, “See that mountain over there?” (He pointed out a restaurant window). “Not far from the base of that mountain, there was a boy born to an unwed mother. He had a hard time growing up, because every place he went, he was always asked, “Hey boy, who’s your daddy?” Whether he was at school, in the grocery store or drug store, people would ask the same question, “Who’s your daddy?” He would hide at recess and lunchtime from other students. He would avoid going into stores because that question hurt him so much.

When he was about 12 years old, a new preacher came to his church. He would always go in late and slip out early to avoid hearing the question, “Who’s your daddy?” But one day, the new preacher said the benediction so fast, the boy got caught and had to walk out with the crowd. Just about the time he got to the back door, the new preacher, not knowing anything about the young man, put his hand on his shoulder and asked him, “Son, who’s your daddy?”

The whole church got deathly quiet. He could feel every eye in the church looking at him. Now everyone would finally know the answer to the, question, “Who’s your daddy?”

The new preacher, though, sensed the situation around him and using discernment that only the Holy Spirit could give, said the following to the scared little boy. “Wait a minute! I know who you are. I see the family resemblance now. “You are a child of God.” With that he patted the boy on his shoulder and said, “Boy, you’ve got a great inheritance. Go and claim it.”

The boy smiled for the first time in a long time and walked out the door a changed person. He was never the same again. Whenever anybody asked him, “Who’s your Daddy?” he’d just tell them, “I’m a child of God.”

The distinguished gentleman got up from the table and said, “Isn’t that a great story?”

The professor responded that it really was.

As the man turned to leave, he said, “You know, if that new preacher hadn’t told me that I was one of God’s children, I probably would never have amounted to anything!” And he walked away.

The seminary professor and his wife were stunned. He called the waitress over and asked, “Do you know that man who just left that was sitting at our table?”

The waitress grinned and said, “Of course. Everybody here knows him. That’s Ben Hooper. He’s the former governor of Tennessee!”

So, I asked you today, “Whose Your Daddy?”

“Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:22-24, 26-28, 30-32‬ ‭

Chose Your Battles

Chose Your Battles Carefully
Author: Pat Aman
6/28/2019

Isaiah 41:10-13
So, do not fear, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I wi l l uphold you with my righteous right hand. “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

“Choosing your battles will help you win the war. So, choose them in prayer. Quote: Pat Aman

Proverbs 26:17 “He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own Is like one who takes a dog by the ears.”
‭‭
When I read these two scriptures, I realize in the first one, God is saying, “Hey, why are you fighting this battle? I already have it covered.”

And the second scripture, I actually laughed, because only God would of had David say it so plain.

In others words. Why waste your time with non-sense?

Many times you may have inserted yourself into a situation that, looking back, you wish you would have never done. You may have never grabbed a dog by the ears, but you probably would have now realized that what followed was not good. It was not your battle. In other words it was not any of your business in the first place. You should of walked away.

There are battles in life that you should get involved with and battles that you should not.

Battles can be spiritual, physical, mental, social, and even financial.

You need to choose your battles carefully. If you haven’t been invited to participate by all parties or it doesn’t directly affect you, you should pause.

Just maybe you need to step back and look at the situation in which you are about to get involved?

Is there a situation in which you are already involved that you may need to remove yourself?

Yes, we all find ourselves in those positions. Why? Because we jumped before we think about the outcome.

We face external and internal battles daily.

The examples below are just simple, but you will get the idea.

Example: This is a personal battle I had myself.

Internal
“Pat, do you reach for the Diet Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper, or a cold glass of water?”

My mind war…
Well, it is diet.
It is caffeine free.
It is just a soft drink, no sugar and no caffeine!
Let’s see ingredient’s:
Carbonated water
Caramel color
ASPARTAME
Phosphoric avid
Natural and Artificial flavors
Sodium benzoate
(Preservative)

Now other choice….
Water
Ingredient’s: water from a system, that family bought me which water goes through seven purification levels.

I know which one is healthy and healing, but, I do not always chose the correct one. Instead I fight a constant battle, I should not be fighting.

Drink the water, Pat!!!

Then let’s look at an external battle.

My husband works out of town 95% of the time. He eats out every night.
When he comes home, he wants a home cook meal.

Then here I am. I eat at home all the time, so, I want to go out to eat.

Now, this could be a big battle between the two of us. But, we have chosen our battle.

We chose to respect one another.

I cook most of the time for him when he is at home. I try to cook the good country foods he likes to enjoy.

But, we also go on a date night when he is home. He takes me out to eat for at lest for one special meal of my chose.

So, this next week, practice closing your battles. Whether, job, family, husband, wife, are children.

Asked yourself, is it worth my time, energy, are my emotional and spiritual peace of mine?

Then, step back and make the right choice.

Because, Thus says the Lord to you: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s”'”

You’re The Temple

You’re the Temple
Author: Pat AH Aman

Updated with more scriptures 2/2/2022.

When I first did this devotion back in 2001, God said to me, do my people really understand that their bodies are the temple of God.

I grabbed my Bible and re-read the scriptures that I had read many times before. I have even preached several messages on this subject. But do we really understand its meaning.

Exodus 29:43-46 says, ” And there I will meet with the children of Israel and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar. I will sanctify also both Aaron and his son to minister to me in the priest’s office. And I shall dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them, I am the Lord their God.”

What is God talking about?

He is talking about the Ark of the Covenant, The Holy of Holies, the Tabernacle. The place He shall live with His people.

When the children of Israel committed sins, they went to the priest for atonement. The priest would make sacrifices to God for them, for their sins to be forgiven. The Holy of Holies was the very place that God’s presence lived. The Glory of God. The only persons who could go into the presence of God, were the priest. The priest wore a robe with pomegranates and bells around the hem of the garment. When the priest went into the Holy of Holies the presence of God, they would tie a rope around his waist. If the priest had no sin in his heart, and he was pure the people would hear the bells ring as he walk around talking in the Ark of the Covenant talking with God. But if the priest was not pure and holy and had sin, when he walk into the presence of God, he would fall dead. When the people would not hear the bells, they knew he was dead, and would use the rope to pull him out.
As the scriptures tell us the people were not allow in the presence of God, only the priest.

But, Oh yes, Praise God!!

When Jesus died the curtain around the Tabernacle was torn into by God, which now means that we can personally talk to God, without going through a Priest are anyone else.

Think about this, please. What would be taking place if Jesus had not come to earth for the atonement for our sins?

Answer – there would be a lot of us laying dead on the floor, plain and simple.

Why?

1 John 1: 5,7 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Darkness cannot exist in the presence of light, and sin cannot exist in the presence of God. If we want to have a relationship with God, we must put aside our sinful ways of living. If we claim to walk with Jesus, but then set out on our own paths, we are hypocrites. Christ will expose and judge such deceit.

When Jesus shed His blood for you and me, for the remissions of our sins, He gave us the ability to talk to God, in the Name of Jesus. And He also left the Holy Spirit to live within us, to direct us and help us.

Now that I have said that. Do you now realized that if you know Jesus as your personal savior, that God now lives in you.

Stop and think, now God only let the priest go before him, because his presence was pure and holy. But now through Jesus, God can live in you. You can go directly into His presence.

Are you holy enough for God to live in you?

Yes we are through Jesus.

When you walk around your home, work, city, county are where ever you are, do people see Jesus in you?

Do they hear the bells of praise from you, or are you dead to sin?

Maybe you need to grab that rope to Jesus and say pull me out.

Maybe you need to say, I know that I am not living as I should.

Maybe I am not giving God all of me.

Maybe you need to lift your hands to God and say forgive me of my sins and make me a vessel for you. Make me where others will see You in me.

Remember Jesus already lifted His hands for us on Calvary.

Is Your Light Shining and Your Bells ringing loud today?

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭2:15, 19, 23-25‬

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Father God Promises To Protect If We Will Listen To Him.

Father God Promises To Protect If We Will Listen To Him.
Author: Pat Aman

Today a friend from church posted one verse of Exodus 23 on her FB page and it caught my spirit.

I think what really caught my eye was the part of the Bible verse that said, “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.” Exodus 23:20

I went back in my old sermons Library file that I preached through the years and did some research.

I got my Matthew Henry Commentary down, and four different study Bibles. The verse really sent a strong message to the Israelites and it sends the same message to the world today.

Exodus 23: 20 -33
“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him. If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out. Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. “I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run. I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way. But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land. “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you. Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

Let’s look at what some of commentary’s have to say about who this Angel might have been.

Some say this angel was human angel or messenger, and the likely person is Joshua who led God’s people into the Promised Land. Augustine saw that Joshua is another name for Jesus. So when it says in Exodus 23:21, “My Name is in him,” it is prophetic of Jesus who leads us into the inheritance of the heavenly Promised Land.

Another said this angel was, well, an angel, a supernatural being. The psalmist said, “He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11. Hebrews 1:14, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Those are wonderful promises for us.

There’s also a third possibility. This angel is so closely associated with Father God that we get the feeling he may be more than an angel. God’s Name, which refers to the revelation and attributes of God, is in this angel.

Many Christians have thought the angel is the pre-incarnate Son, the second person of the Trinity.

We may asked then who do you think this angel is?

All I can say is from my studies whoever this Angel really was he points us to Christ.

If we look at the following verses, it shows in what ways is the Angel in Exodus 23:21-22 is like Jesus?

Matthew 28:20, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

John 14:2, My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

Hebrews 1:3, The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Luke 9:35, A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.”

Colossians 1:14, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of

If I were making a lesson plan up like I did when I taught school, I would asked the students what lessons can we learn from this passage?

The Answer would be plain and simple, “The battle is the LORD’s”

Exodus 23:22 says, “If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and I will oppose those who oppose you.”

Obedience brings victory. We are in a spiritual battle. It’s not a flesh and blood battle; it’s a spiritual battle, “against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm” Ephesians 6:12, For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

We have two powerful weapons for this warfare, the Word of God and Prayer.

There are many times when we feel the pressure of this spiritual battle, and sometimes we get disheartened.

We would love to see more happening. But less can be more.

It was true for Jesus. He ministered to multitudes; he healed them; cast out demons; all exciting instant stuff. But it wasn’t the multitudes who turned the world upside down. It was the twelve disciples. It was the twelve men Jesus spent his time with day in and day out, in the nitty-gritty hard work of Christian discipleship. And progress was slow; it was little by little; two steps forward and two steps backwards; then maybe one step forward. It was painfully slow progress; but it was a long term strategy, and he knew it would reap a harvest.

I personally know at times we get disheartened by slow spiritual progress?

How do these verses encourage you to keep going?

One important thing I can say is there’s no room for compromise!

Exodus 23:32-33, Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods. Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

There are many ways we can compromise in our personal lives. But there’s no room for compromise with sin.

What is the statement we have heard many times written by
R. Zaccharias -.
“Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay.”

We can compromise in our witness, and lose everything are we can live in Obedience which will brings victory.
