I know I am not alone when God’s timing seems to not be in line of what I think my timing should be. There are so many times in my life that I have goof up by not waiting on God. I got in a hurry and boy did I pay the price.
Maybe you feel that God is leading you in one direction, but it maybe your own wants and desires and not God’s desire for your life. I will say you will find out fast that God is in control, because he will start allowing obstacles to pop up, and road blocks. He is not stopping you from fulfilling your dream, He is just trying to tell you that the timing may not be right. So, do not fret, just want on God and when you reach your dream it will be bigger than you could have ever realized.
Remember that God is always on time. Just stand still and let Him do His thing.
I know right now as another couple and Joe and I are trying to help get a old rotten, holes in floor trailor ready for a lady, we have tried to get ahead of God. Even maybe went to people with our requests. BUT, God has shown us that He is in charge of this task. He has it under control and He is laying on the hearts of people He wants to help us, and He is blessing them back BIG Time.
We have had people who needs help themselves sow seeds into this project and God is blessing them back 100 fold even before they get home. The calls we are recieving are just amazing.
In the Bible we read of Paul who frustration and trying to do it his way did not work. But God’s did.
In the verse below you will read of one of those times in Pauls life. So, take heed to Pauls frustration and see how God worked it for His glory and not Pauls.
Acts 20:16 For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus in order that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be in Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost.
Paul had made it known earlier that he had wanted to be in Jerusalem for the Passover. Here he is obviously still a long journey away and the date is past. He is not wild-eyed with frustration, or crushed under grief or anything in between with the fact that his plans had to be adjusted. He is adjusting them and leaving the outcome to God. He passes by Ephesus. He probably felt that stopping there would be a significant delay, and he was probably right.
But that little clause – if possible – says that Paul knew God was in control. If God had wanted Paul in Jerusalem for the Passover, He would have simply done with Paul as was done with Phillip when Phillip was literally transported to the place where the Etheopean eunuch was passing by in his chariot. Poof! And Paul would have been there for the Passover dinner. Paul was sidestepping attempts on his life during his return trip. It was not clear that he would return at all.
If possible made allowance for God to send Paul to places like Ephesus along with significant delays for the purposes of the Lord. Our schedules can be very important things to us. Preparation for a test or a special event can draw a great deal of our focus. But if God can move Kings and Kingdoms to satisfy His plans, our schedules don’t really stand a chance.
Phil 4:11-13 Not that I speak from want; for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
Having our plans deviated is frustrating, or it can be. Paul had learned to roll with the punches and let God do with Paul as He needed. He had suffered a few punches – shipwrecked, stoned and left for dead, snakebite by a viper. That sure does put the wrinkle in our schedules into perspective. Try to see the little things that go astray during the day from the perspective that God may be working in your life. Trust Jesus with the little things in your life, and the big things will move into place where He wants them.
SEE, we can face tomorrow for God is in control and He knows what is best for us.
Change! Why? Because God’s Knows What Is Best For You.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.”
Genesis 12:1-5 KJV
WOW! When I think of change, I immediately think of Abraham.
Change!
God told Abraham just to pack up and leave. Leave Family. Leave Friends. Leave his home. Lead his land. Leave everything he has built.
As I see our daughters now grown and on their own, I really have a hard time. They are slowly leaving from under our, or I might say MY, protected wings. I really think it is harder on a mother than a father. Maybe because we protected them and carried them inside of us right next to our hearts. You have heard the old saying, “only a child has heard their mama’s heart from the inside.” So, I now say, “I watch my heart from the outside, when I look at them.
We are so proud of them, but we know we have to let go. We know that God will bring someone special into their lives one day and we will have to share a piece of our and their heart with them.
I pray daily that God will send a sold out man of God into their lives. A man that will have to go through God’s heart to get to their heart.
God has blessed us with a extended family and we are just as protective of them.
We pray for all our children everyday.
Change happens to all of us. But, we need to realize that change even though maybe hard, it is good. Change is God’s way of cleansing us and growing us. If there was not change, then we will become stale. And then we will burn out, rotten and begin to stink.
As Joe and I have been in the ministry 40 years together, we have seen changes.
Some change was very hard. I remember leaving the church we raised our family, and we still have so many good friends there, but, without change, we would have never met so many new and wonderful friends.
We must remember God is always in control. And, the only time when things fall apart is when we go our on way and not God’s.
As long as we keep our heart and eyes in God, we will stay in His will for our lives.
CHANGE! Yes, it can be hard, but if God is in control it is just a new road to walk for Him and His glory.
Change is God’s way of saying, “hey, I got this, now walk through this new door. I have already gone before you and laid the map out. You will not get lost . I will bless you. ”

Philippians 1: 3-4
I end each message with “My Blessings, Love & Prayers,” I truly mean that, and I pray for each of you every morning and evening.
The past couple of weeks I have been talking to our youngest daughter about working on becoming healthy. I decided yes, I have lost 114 pounds, but, am I healthy? Not really! I feel weak at times, and my body has some aches and pains that I feel would go away if I ate better.
You maybe wondering why I would talk to our youngest daughter about eating healthy? Answer-because she knows what to do.
She eats a lot of organic foods, and does not drink or put foods into her body that will harm her body. No soda’s diet or regular. There is no, sugar in her house or oils that are not Omega 3’s which is supposed to be the good oils.
Anyway, I asked her what would be a great way to detoxify my body without using harsh chemicals. A natural detoxifier that would not hurt me, but help me. May be something like a 10 day detox that would jump start me into a healthier life style, and I could live a long natural, healthy life.
Of course she went to checking this out for me, and found the answer, but, also agreed to do it with me to help support me. So, here we go yippee hurray.
This weekend we went to visit her and she had a book for me to use to help me succeed. The first thing in the book I was shown that I needed to do was a quantitative assessment for how much change I would need to make, to my body, mind, soul, and spirit. In other words, what I would need to do to get the Toxicity and Inflammation out of my body.
Simple language, I had to get a journal to write in because I would need to list my health imbalance over the next 10 days. I had to be able to compare before, during and after.
Then I had to plan, in which I was reminded that if I went on a trip I would plan the trip, and not just jump into it.
Number one is cleans my cabinets out, or at lest I thought it would be, but, I was wrong.
Number one is Preparation Checklist. Answering questions that I would be committed too.
Number two, was cleaning the cabinets out. Not throwing food away, but putting in another place that would not be so easy to put my hands on.
Number 3, get my shopping list and go to grocery store and only get what is on my list that I needed for at less week one.
A couple of the questions were:
1. I have decided to commit to the program?
2. Can I go without process sugar, and eat natural sugars?
3. Am I dedicated to taking vitamins that I need to take?
4. Have I informed family, close friends; and, as appropriate colleagues that I will be doing this program and would like their support?
By now, you are asking what has any of this to do with a devotional to share with the group.
Well, let me tell you Now!
I drove 3-1/2 hours tonight and thought about this journey I will be starting so I can become healthy. And of course, as usual, I turned it to a Biblical message.
Think about it for just a moment. We sometimes allow so much garbage to enter our mind, body, mind, soul, and spirit that it keeps us from growing as children of God. So just maybe, we need to do a quantitative assessment of our dedication to God, Church, and our Church Family so we can get the Toxicity and Inflammation out of our spiritual walk.
Maybe we need to ask ourselves , what can we do to improve starting right now? What symptoms do we have that keeps us from living a fulfilled and blessed life?
How do we react to our feelings for not only ourselves, but to other people?
What can we do to really take care of our body, mind, spirit and soul?
And what do we need to learn today that we can carry with us the rest of our lives?
Remember question number ONE: We have decided to commit to the program? That means, we have committed to give our total lives over to God to lead, guide and direct us? We are willing to trust God with our life? We are willing to say, “God, you are in total control, show us what you want us to do?
Now looking at question TWO, are we willing to let God remove the sweet sugar things that we like from our life that is keeping us from growing in Him? In other words all sin that we even do not realize we have in our life that may be causing us to be weak and have no strength to fight satan and his demons?
See, we need to be willing to let God remold and make us into the person He wants us to be. Do we have bitterness, unforgiveness, hatred, gossip, and laziness in our life? Do we talk the talk, but, not walk the walk? Are we careful to not let words that are ungodly come out of our mouth?
Then WOW, question number THREE, and will we take time to have an intimate relationship with God? Will we take our daily vitamins of Prayer and Bible Study to help us live a more abundant life? Are we willing say God, we only want to go today where you want us to go, and say only what you want us to say?
Then as question number FOUR states, are we willing to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the world? Have we informed family, close friends; and, as appropriate colleagues that we will be making these changes in our life and would love their support? And inform them that we will allow no negative actions of comments to enter our life circle?
NOW, I asked each of you these same questions. Are you ready to make a change in your life? Are you willing to let God have total control over your mind, body, spirit, soul, and even may be your tongue?
If you say YES, and you are willing, God is waiting for you right now. He is ready to take control over all your problems, concerns, and circumstance, yes, the good, bad and the ugly.
So, right now, bow your head and asked God to clean you up. And remember, you do not have to be clean to come to God. For God, takes broken vessels and makes them into beautiful pieces of art. I promise you that God never makes a mistake, and when He formed you in your mother’s womb, you were made for a reason and a purpose. You just call out to Him, and let Him show you how wonderfully and beautiful you are too Him. Again, just call out to Him and He will make the changes in you that He wants made. He will show you direction. He will give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding for your life.
See, He invented the DETOX program. He let His son Jesus come to earth and died for your sins, that you can live a abundantly blessed, and most important a life eternal with your Heavenly Father in Heaven.
Psalm 51
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.
18 May it please you to prosper Zion,
to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
in burnt offerings offered whole;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.
Blessings, Love and Prayers,

Remember God Loves You So Much. You Are His Child. God Will Always Lift His Children Up.
You Are Just His Little Child, Run Into His Arms Now. He Will Hold You And Love You!
Sometimes we seem to go through a period of hurting, struggling, failing, brokenness, a piercing or unrelenting pain, a failure from our past, are maybe so many disappointments we feel that we are all alone. Maybe we just need forgiveness? Even there has been something we have tried to fix that escapes our skill?
Maybe disappointed dreams are our best opportunities to look for hope in God and our future. Have reassurance that you are not alone. Seek God. Kneel in His presence. Let Him take all the confusion, discouragement, weariness away. Put it into God’s To Do Box.
Believe that whatever you need in your life; God cares. Just look to God in everything, and know that you will receive a sweet peace from Him. Just bring it to Jesus and I promise you, He will take care of it.
(Matthew 11:28-29) – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
(John 14:1) Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”
(Isaiah40:29-31) He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
(Isaiah43:2) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
(Psalm71:20) O, God though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; and from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.”

Please as Sunday, is the anniversary of 9 -11, listen to the video that our dear friend Lucy wrote and recorded.
This inspirational song was written and performed by Lucy Hemingway of New Life Baptist Church in Hope Mills, NC. It was inspired by an article written in the Paraglide Military Newspaper about a soldier who was killed in Afghanistan. The story featured one of the soldiers daughters Ashlyn Rodgers holding an American flag as she stated “When I hold the flag, I fee…l like I’m holding my daddy.” Her daddy Chief Warrant Officer 2, Joshua Rodgers served his county and gave his life for our Freedom. This video is dedicated to all of the brave men and women of the United States military and their families. Thank you for all of the many great sacrifices you give to keep our country free. May God continue to bless America.
Joe and I had lunch with a very close and dear friend today. Lucy and I attended the same church over 20 years ago. As Lucy said today, “God has bought our family and hers back together for this Season of Revival. Lucy was playing the piano by ear at the age of three, taught by her mother. Her early years were devoted to County Music which led to a regular TV appearance and her first record. At the age of 30, Lucy Hemingway gave her life to the Lord and was delivered from alcohol and depression. Since then her music has been dedicated to God’s service. She has ministered in countless churches, TV shows, schools, weddings, birthday parties, and practically every venue. She has written over 700 songs, a dozen cantatas, and is working on her second book. Lucy is currently signed with Ephesus Records as an artist and House of Burgess Music Publishing as a writer. She has lifted God through her music at Billy Graham Convention, appearances on Niteline, 700 Club, PTL Grand Hotel, and her songs have been recorded by several National Artists. One I love is The Blood Covers It All recorded by The Greenes.
I will tell you this, that Lucy wants no praise and honor. She gives all Praise and Honor to her Father God.

Father God Renew My Strength
Author: Pastor Pat Aman
I am not sure where the last few days or week has gone, but, I seem to be a week ahead.
Yesterday Ms. Gwen a friend of mine at church had to set me straight. She reminded me that it was still August.
I think when this happens is when we (-I-) need to slow down and take a reality break. I know that if I do not take a God and me time, that I will find myself weak, and just making the motions and not truly living a fulfill life as God wants me to live.
I must stop and remember where my strength comes from.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
Psalms 28:7 KJV
I cannot truly praise God and rejoice in life if my heart is not totally trusting in what God wants and has for me to do. And if I do not ask for new strength daily, I become weak.
If I really want to live a victorious life promised, I must learn faith in God and His abilities. This is a difficult task when I get to busy to stop and ask God for direction.
True strength must start and end with God. It is the power and strength that comes from God that carries us on. As children of God we need to surrender to the strength that God provides and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. It is not your strength that is needed but the strength that Our Heavenly Father that He offers us everyday.
I want to ask you a simple question, are you ready to be renewed by the everlasting strength from your Father God?????
I know I am!

My family says it is time to get all my writing published. They feel that it will help people in their daily walk as well as help with the ones that are using and reprinting my materials without permission.
I think it is our daughters way of making us use our minds to help keep us sharp, young and on our toes.

What is Character?
1998/2009/rev2016rev
Proverbs 22: 1
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold.”
God has made us to have external characteristic and internal characteristics. The external things are those part of us that everyone can see. They are the outside part of us, how tall we are, what we look like, how good we are at music or sports or art, how well we do in our schoolwork and many other areas that others see about us. Most people place the most importance on these external things. They are very concerned about what they wear and if they have “name brand” clothing or not. They are concerned about the style and cut of their hair, about the style and cut of their hair. Many times even the brand of tennis shoes that they wear is of great importance.
It is not wrong to look sharp and wear stylish things. It is not wrong to do well in school. It is not wrong to want to do our best in football or basketball or make the cheerleading squad. These are good things to desire. But they are not the most important things about us. Part of growing up and becoming a mature man or woman is really knowing what is important and what is not important.
The really important part of you is the internal part called your character. The reason this is important is that sooner or later, what you are really like on the inside will show on the outside. If you are a liar and think you can get away with it, soon you will lie often; and you will be found out, and your character will show you for what you are. If you have much pride in some ability, soon others will notice your pride and will not want to acknowledge the ability God’s has given you.
They will not care how good you are at something, for they will not want to be around you. But if you work on your character, it will show through your life and make those external things even better.
For example, if you are a giving and caring person from your heart, others around will be happy for you when something good happens to you. If you are self-centered and only think of yourself, others will not be happy and glad for you when something good happens.
The reason that people sometimes do not have friends is because their inner character is not pretty or smart. What we are on the inside will sooner or later always show to others.
Just remind yourself of what is really important. Stop and think of ten bad attitudes, and then think of ten good attitudes. After you think about these attitudes it will be obvious which attitudes are of God and which are of the flesh. If we are to grown in our character and “Be conformed to the image of Jesus” by the Holy Spirit working in us, we must remember some very important things.
We must desire to be like Jesus and consciously choose to “walk in the spirit”.
We must recognize that from time to time we will “fall back” and choose to give in to the desires of the flesh. We must not be discouraged by this but use those times to determine that we have an even greater desire to be like Jesus.
When we do give in to the desires of the flesh, we must realize that we have sinned and confess our sin to God. He promises in I John 1: 9 that if we confess our sins to Him, He will “forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”
After we have received forgiveness, we need to ask God to fill us with His Spirit and Guide us in the way we should go.
If we are conscious of these things, we can be sure that God will be at work making us more and more like Jesus. We will want of live a life that we will be filled with love for others, and with peace and joy in our hearts, longsuffering and patience when things do not go our way, gentleness and goodness in our attitudes toward others and faithfulness when God wants to use us to do something good. When we have these things, we will not have to suffer guilt, anger, rebellion and all those other attitudes and feelings that continually hurt us and others. We will be free to be all God wants us to be.
When we read the story of Noah, we read that the people in Noah’s time were living in the flesh and did not desire to seek after God. It was not long before God destroyed them all, for their hearts were sinful and wicked. Noah and his family were not perfect, but God say in Genesis 6:8 that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”
Noah is a good example for all of us. God does not expect us to be perfect, but He does want us to learn to walk in the Spirit and to desire to become like Jesus. When this is our desire, He promises to bless us in many ways. One of God’s promises to Noah was that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. But God does tell us many times that if we continue to walk in the flesh which is sin, and have no desire to learn to walk like Jesus, there will be consequences in our lives that are not good. Just as your parents might give you consequences of punishment for misbehavior, so does God warn us of consequences of allowing ungodly character to be a part of our lives. Think now about your character. What is there about your character do you need to change? What are the good things about your character?
Read the verses below and they will help you answer the two questions above.
Proverbs 6:16-19
16 These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look, A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.
Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.
Proverbs 12:A good man obtains favor from the LORD, But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn.
Proverbs 15:29The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the LORD leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.
Proverbs 28:13-14
13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. 14 Happy is the man who is always reverent, But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”
Psalms 18:2-3
Luke 8:43-48
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
WOW! This women had been unclean for 12 years, as in Jewish law she could not be seen in public or have contact with anyone.
Her family and friends who knew of her illness would run from her. Even shut the door in her face, if she went to visit them. She couldn’t go anywhere.
Think about this for a little while, hummm, she could not go to church, the grocery store, or even to a gathering with her friends.
She had went to all types of doctors, and tried all the medicines and home remedies she could learn about, but nothing helped her.
Then one day she heard of this man from Galilee. A man name Jesus who was touching people and they were being set free from sickness and delivered from evil spirits. See, the word of Jesus healing has spread all over Galilee. Mark 5:27
She starting planning her secret trip into town. She began wondering, how can I cover myself that no one will recognize me?
She had set her heart on just getting close enough to touch His coat and she knew she would be healed. She was determine to find him and be healed.
The day finally arrive and she prepared herself for her private and secret trip to town.
When she arrived in town she saw his boat coming towards shore and she slowly moved her way thru the crowd.
To reach Jesus she must push and shove her way between people when openings occur. She is weak; her strength is drained, and yet she will not give up. She must reach Jesus, and so she continues to force her weak body through the crowd until she reached Jesus.
See, she had decided in her heart, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed” (Mark 5:28).
She doesn’t want to meet him or talk to him. She is too scared and ashamed of her illness, and perhaps even afraid that Jesus are his followers and maybe even someone in the crowd of people would fuss at her. Send her back home to continue to hide and be by herself. She knew she must do this without bringing attention to herself. But she must touch him. She must.
Elbowing Her Way to Touch the Master’s Clothing (8:44)
“She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped” (Luke 8:44).
Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
NOW, friends, are you ready for Jesus to say to you, ” Son/Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath whole.
If you have dealt with sin, sickness, demons of depression are anything else, give it to Jesus.
Right now, reach out and touch the hem of His garment and be made whole.
God is still in the miracle working business.

“Then after I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. In those days, I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, men and women alike.” Joel 2:28-29
The Latter Rain.
Praise God, it is beginning to rain. Are you ready for the latter rain. Get ready children of God. Yes, it is beginning to rain.
God is pouring His spirit on all who is prepared and ready to receive.
I truly believe the winds of the Holy Spirit are changing direction. The Holy Spirit is pouring the latter rains into the lives of all that are truly seeking God and God’s will for their lives and churches everywhere.
God is calling His chosen people, and He is cleaning house, preparing for the latter rain to fall.
For those of us who have believe, and have marched the 7th time, and stood fast, we are going to see the latter rain fall.
Just remember just the smallest cloud can produce the largest rain.
Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “ There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. (I Kings 18:41-45 NKJV)

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.”
Isaiah 53:1-12 NKJV
The above scriptures makes me stop and think of the world when Jesus came to earth, and the world now. Look at all the brokenness of mankind.
But, Jesus came into this world to save us from all our sins, transgressions, griefs and infirmities, our brokenness.
The Hebrew word translated griefs (or infirmities) means physical sickness and disease. The one for sorrows means physical and mental pain, anguish, grief, and sorrow .
All of this was taken from us and placed upon Jesus.
He was punished to bring us peace with God through salvation, by His blood.
And by His wounds we are healed, physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.
The world is broken. But, as we kneel down and ask for forgiveness of our sins, God will restore us back as His children.
God gave His Son Jesus, so all His children could be saved from all their brokenness.
So, today, kneel down and look up to your Father God. He is ready to rebuild and restore.
God takes broken people and makes beautiful people.
