Father God Renew My Strength

Father God Renew My Strength
Author: Pastor Pat Aman

I am not sure where the last few days, weeks are month has gone, but, I seem to be a few days behind.

A good friend of mine had to set me straight. She reminded me that it is not August anymore. In other words, I do not even know where August went are when September arrived.

I know the last few weeks have been busy. I realized I was not going by month, but by day. As they say, “One Day At A Time.”

I think when this happens is when we “I”need to slow down and take a reality break.

I know that if I do not take a Father God and me time, that I will find myself weak, and just making the motions and not truly living a fulfill life as He wants me to live.

I must stop and remember where my strength comes from.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I cannot truly praise my Father God and rejoice in life, if my heart is not totally trusting in what He wants and has for me to do. And if I do not ask for new strength daily, I become weak.

There is a quote that says, “7 Days Without God, Makes One WEAK.”

I will tell you now, one second without Father God, makes you WEAK.

If I really want to live a victorious life promised, I must learn to completely faith in Father God and His abilities. This is a difficult task when I get to busy to stop and ask Him for direction.

True strength must start and end with our Heavenly Father. It is the power and strength that comes from Him that carries us on.

As children of God we need to surrender to the strength that He provides and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

It is not your are my strength that is needed, but the strength that Our Heavenly Father offers us everyday.

I want to ask you a simple question, are you ready to be renewed by the everlasting strength from your Father God?????
I know I am!

Blessings, Love and Prayers,

Revival In Our Souls

Revival In Our Souls
Author: Pat Aman

I remember churches use to have Revival at lest twice a year, we would sing the old song.

“Revive Us Again.” Why? It was time for Revival.

How sad, when we should be singing it everyday. Revive us again, Lord, revive us again.

Then we would not have so many people jumping from one church to another, because when they finally get a true Revival within themselves, they become a happier person and they stop running from church to church searching for something.

WOW!

What a thought, people that experience true Revival and then they are ready to help build the Kingdom of God.

Yes, then they are able to reach the lost and dying world, by staying where God has them and start doing His work. Yes, because they have experienced true Revival.

I have the words to the song at the end of this devotion.

Psalm 85:6 Wilt Thou not Thyself revive us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?

Revival is one of those interesting subjects that everyone talks about, but few understand. It is for this reason that I would like to spend a little time looking at revival historically, and with a view to a response of Christian devotion.

Revival is a phrase that is applied to the spiritual state of a community. A town is said to be in revival.

The mark or evidence of a revival is a escalation or surge in the hearts of individuals with concern over the condition of their souls.

Religious concerns, however, do not make a revival. Revival takes place when those religious concerns are married with a visitation of God’s Spirit, coming to a church, town, community or nation and awakening believers, reclaiming backsliders, and converting sinners.

This is why we can not plan revivals. The greatest misconception regarding revival is that we can have a yearly, or semi-annual revival in April or/and October. Churches fall into this trap all the time. They, in a sense, announce to the congregation that God’s Spirit will visit on this or that weekend in this or that month, and therefore, “we will be having a revival.” On Monday morning, after a planned revival, everything for the individual in the congregation is often back to normal.

This is NOT revival!

Revival is the spontaneous and unplanned, flowing of the Holy Spirit into the lives of the unsuspecting in such power, in such glory, that the world takes notice. In a revival in Windham, Connecticut in the early 1730’s the effect was so extensive, so pervasive, that there was not one household in the town that did not have a member in the local church. Every house was effected. Every person in that town and all the surrounding towns knew that something beyond human design was happening.

Are you in need of revival?

As noted above, revival awakens believers who have become comfortable in their circumstances and walk with the Lord, it reclaims backsliders, who have fallen into sinful practices and customs, and it converts sinners. Revival does these things to such an extent that in a town that experiences revival, all the bars, gaming houses, and similar dens of sin shut down their operations because there are no patrons.

Everyone of us fits into one of those above categories. We either need to be converted, reclaimed, or awakened. Revival is not something that we can create in ourselves, but we can pray for it. Since we can’t create it, we can attempt to “pray it down.”

Would you like to have all the people in
your town or city concerned with the state of their souls?

Well, then, revival has begun with you, for you know the value of concern for your soul. Go now to the Father God and ask Him for a special visitation of His Spirit upon you, upon your church, your town, your state, your nation!

Asked Father God to “Psalm 51:10-12: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit” “

The. Father God will say to you,”Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you ia new heart, and ia new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Revive Us Again
We praise Thee, O God!
For the Son of Thy love,
For Jesus Who died,
And is now gone above.
Refrain
Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Hallelujah! Amen.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory.
Revive us again.
We praise Thee, O God!
For Thy Spirit of light,
Who hath shown us our Savior,
And scattered our night.
Refrain
All glory and praise
To the Lamb that was slain,
Who hath borne all our sins,
And hath cleansed every stain.
Refrain
All glory and praise
To the God of all grace,
Who hast brought us, and sought us,
And guided our ways.
Refrain
Revive us again;
Fill each heart with Thy love;
May each soul be rekindled
With fire from above.

Spiritual Blindness

Spiritual Blindness”
Author: Pastor Pat AH Aman

Spiritual Blindness, oh my gracious, these are Powerful Words.

But, as I look around, I see people walking around in a fog of spiritual blindness, and when they speak their words it shows me just how spiritual blinded they have become in their lives.

As I pondered this question of spiritual blindness, it made me think, am I where I should be in my walk with God? Am I blind to the world around me and the service God has called me into?

I decided without hesitation that I do not know about you, but, I am on assignment for Father God and I am realizing I do not have time for junk are to play games. I do not beat around the bush. If someone needs Jesus, I will share the grace and mercy of His gift of Salvation with them.

I can share with them that they do not have to stay in a state of spiritual blindness.

I can share through my testimony what it is like to walk with dark shades over my eyes. Yes, if my own experience with my own spiritual blindness can help a soul not spend eternity in hell, so be it.

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭9:1-7, 37-38‬

This is a story of blindness. A man had been born blind, forced to spend his entire life begging his livelihood. Then one day Jesus pick up some dirt, spit in it and put the dirt (clay)on his eyes, sent him to wash, and he saw!

I wonder why nobody at all, praised God?

Was it because they were too preoccupied with their own concerns to recognize Father God at work among them?

The disciples were wrapped up in a theological question: Why was this man born blind?

The Pharisees were worried by a legal question: What authority had Jesus to heal, especially on the Sabbath?

The man’s parents were anxious about a personal issue: How can we avoid being ostracized by the synagogue? Even the man himself was initially concerned only with what had happen to him.

This is a story of blindness, all right. Everybody in it is blind, to Jesus. Yet there He is, restoring sight!

I am blind sometimes too, so preoccupied with other issues that I fail to see the work of God around me.

One person in this story give me hope. The man who was once blind finally sees who Jesus really is an immediately he worships Him.

If I focus my own eyes on who Jesus is, will I be able to see what God is doing in the world and in my life, and praise Him for it.
Father God, as I turn my eyes to You, heal my blindness that I may praise You for all You good works. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen and Amen and so be it!!!!

Are You Broken and Scattered?

Are You Broken?
Author: Pat AH Aman
August 1, 2016/2023

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.”
Isaiah 53:1-12

The above scriptures makes me stop and think of the world when Jesus came to earth, and the world now. Look at all the brokenness of mankind.

But, Jesus came into this world to save us from all our sins, transgressions, griefs and infirmities, our brokenness.

The Hebrew word translated griefs (or infirmities) means physical sickness and disease. The one for sorrows means physical and mental pain, anguish, grief, and sorrow .

All of this was taken from us and placed upon Jesus.

He was punished to bring us peace with Father God through salvation, by His blood.
And by His wounds we are healed, physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.

The world is broken. But, as we kneel down and ask for forgiveness of our sins, God will restore us back as His children.

Father God gave His Son Jesus, so all His children could be saved from all their brokenness.

Remember, you may feel like a broken puzzle. You may feel you have missing pieces, and cannot be put back together.

“Today Father God is going to pick up those scattered puzzle pieces of your life. When He puts them back together, you will be the most beautiful puzzle in the world. Father God is the Architect of broken lives. He does not use glue, tape are bandages to repair. He will make your life brand new. He only uses the best building materials. Pat Aman”

So, today, kneel down and look up to your Father God. He is ready to rebuild and restore.

Father God takes broken people and makes beautiful people.

It’s Beginning To Rain

It’s Beginning To Rain
Author: Pat Aman
August 1, 2016/rev2023

When studying about the latter rain in the Bible we can give two examples of the latter rain. One interpretaion assumes the literal meaning and the other a spiritual meaning of the expression. The first one we would need to learn about the geographic settings and climate of Israel in relation to rain. Geographical settings of Israel has low rainfall and its soil is mainly composed of limestone and sandstone, so it is not easy to even find water underground.

But, today we will look at the Spiritual.

“Then after I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. In those days, I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, men and women alike.” Joel 2:28-29

Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.” Jeremiah 5:24

The Latter Rain.

The prophecy of the former rain was fulfilled by Jesus 2,000 years ago; on the day of Pentecost, Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon His disciples who had all joined together in Jerusalem constantly in prayer for ten days, after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. Then the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit occurred in the early Church; 3,000 people repented in a day, and from then on even more souls were saved.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.… All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit … Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Acts 2:1-47

Praise God, it is beginning to rain. Are you ready for the latter rain. Get ready children of God. Yes, it is beginning to rain. God is pouring His spirit on all who is prepared and ready to receive.

I truly believe the winds of the Holy Spirit are changing direction. The Holy Spirit is pouring the latter rains into the lives of all that are truly seeking God and God’s will for their lives and churches everywhere.
God is calling His chosen people, and He is cleaning house, preparing for the latter rain to fall.

We must remember that the Holy Spirit of the latter rain, which is granted at the time of spiritual harvest, is poured out upon those who are united and ready to receive it’s abundantly.

For those of us who have believe, and have marched the 7th time, and stood fast, we are going to see the latter rain fall. Just remember the smallest cloud can produce the largest rain.

I am ready!

ARE YOU READY???

Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “ There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. (I Kings 18:41-45 NKJV)

The Power of Friendship

The Power of Friendship
Author: Pat Aman…
2013rev2023

Prov 17:17 A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

There are two very powerful thoughts here.

“A Friend loves at all times,” means there is nothing that one friend can do to the other that will break their friendship. There is not act or word that can not be forgiven between two friends of this kind. This is not a reference to casual friends or acquaintances. I have a few of these
friends. There number is small, but I count on them even if only to know they are on my side. Conversely, I make it very clear to them that I will be on their side regardless of the circumstances. Let me explain that I
think that phrase “regardless of the circumstances” means. If one of these
friends were to really blow it, really mess their life up, I may not be able to do anything but remain on their side. But I will remain on their side. Their guilt or innocence is not a factor. Guilty or not, they are still my friend. If they attack me, I value their friendship enough to wait for a time when things calm down and we can work things out.

Does it mean that it doesn’t hurt, or there are no questions? No, it does not. But it does mean that the value of this special kind of friendship is worth taking a few angry words or actions. Is there a limit to what is tolerable? Is there a point where this friend could demonstrate that they
are no longer a friend? I suppose there is. But there are so few of these relationships in a lifetime that the limit is higher than may even be logical, and the value of the relationship is worth the price of the pain.

Needless to say this kind of relationship is not given away lightly, and only rarely quickly. This kind of fierce loyalty is sometimes born in a moment of adversity. When one person must have help to get through something. The help can come unasked and unexpected. At times, it even
comes unwanted given with a firm explanation that says the help is given
because it is the only way the outcome will not be ill. Either a blood brother, or that friend that sticks closer than a brother is someone you can count on in a desperate or frustrating moment. As sure as God is in
control, He moves hearts that respond to the needs of someone in the middle of adversity.

The English language has more than a few weaknesses. In Greek, there are five words for love. One is the same root word we get Philadelphia from, the City of Brotherly Love. The Greeks recognized this as a form of love. They separated it from the romantic or erotic feelings that we English
speaking people most often refer to as love. Our culture often has difficulty with this concept of the love of friends to our detriment I believe. Even the best of us needs assurance at times. And a hug is a
great way to let someone know they are not alone.

This is a description of the best mortal man can ask, and it is rare. But this is only a pale shadow of the love of Jesus Christ for a lost and fallen creation. He has demonstrated His love to us over and over again. And we as a people, and even those who call Him Lord and Savior struggle
against Him at times. And yet, He remains at out sides. He knows that without His love we are pitiable at best, and lost for all eternity in the end. And so He stays through the slings and arrows and misunderstanding at our sides. He remains that friend who sticks closer than a brother. Jesus has paid the ultimate price to free us from the power of sin and death. That tells me that, in His mind, the relationship is worth the price of the pain.

Forsaken, but not Forgotten

Forsaken, but not Forgotten
Author: Pat Aman
2012rev.2023

As a child I remember watching Billy Graham on TV with my parents. But my favorite part of his Crusades was when Ethel Waters would sing, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.” I have always loved this song, and I have always loved Miss Waters singing. Now she is singing with the Angels and I can just see her smiling and praising God, because she knew what it was like to be touched by God and have her life turned around. She knew of the bad, good and ugly.

But, as she sings this great anthem of praise, we can see, feel and know
that she never looked away from her Father God. Even when things got
rough, she knew that as God was watching the Sparrow, that He was keeping his eyes on His daughter, His child.

Ms. Waters had a life of ups and downs. Waters first married in 1910 at the age of 13, but her husband was abusive, and she soon left the marriage and became a maid in a Philadelphia hotel, working for $4.75 per week. Her career began when she on her 17th birthday, she attended a costume party at a nightclub on Juniper Street. She was persuaded to sing two songs and impressed the audience so much that she was offered professional work at the Lincoln Theatre in Baltimore. She recalled that she earned the rich sum of $10 per week, but her managers cheated her out of the tips her admirers threw on the stage.

Psalm 37:23,24 “The steps of a man are established by the Lord; and He
delights in his way. When he falls, he shall not be hurled headlong; because the Lord is the One who holds his hand.”

Do you ever feel that God has forsaken you? Do you feel like there are perpetual clouds above your head, that the Lord has hidden His face from you, or that He has turned His back on you? Can you say that the “God of all comfort,” (2 Corinthians 1:3) seems like He lives in another time zone?

Well, so did many in the Bible. It has been the common experience and condition, that even the best saints have seemingly been deserted by
God in the Bible. Let’s look at just two briefly.

“Behold, I go forward but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot
perceive Him; when He acts on the left, I cannot behold Him. He turns on
the right, I cannot see Him.” Job 23:8,9. These are the words of Job, and while we all know the story of Job, have you ever considered the despair echoed in these words? Job is seeking the Lord in the midst of His
struggles, and he cannot find Him. He is not seeking God haphazardly, or only putting forth a sham effort, but rather He has gone forward and
backward, to the right and the left, and he cannot find God. He feels like
God has deserted him.

“Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, I will never be moved. Oh Lord, by Thy favor Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong. Thou didst hide Thy face; I was dismayed.” Psalm 30:6,7. This is an interesting passage from David, a man who God greatly loved and favored. Here David goes on about how great things have gone with Him. He had it good. He even knows that having it good is not due to anything he deserved, but he acknowledges God
for His benefactor. It is God who made David strong, and David both knows it and thanks God for it. So what a surprise to read the next line, that God hid His face from him. But here we see that David knew both the favor of God and also felt, at times, that God had deserted him. “Thou hast put me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the depths.” Psalm 88:6.

In looking at these two examples, we see that even the best of Christians
may feel that God has hidden his favor from them. However, both these
examples also show that us that even if God has hidden his face for a
while, his forsaking is always only partial, and is never total. God knows
what we are able to endure. God may seemly forsake his people in His
comforting presence, and it may feel like all around us is falling down,
but God never forsakes His children in His supporting presence. “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Lastly, consider that God may forsake His people for their good. He may be preparing them for greater manifestations of His blessings and grace. This was the case with Job. Job was greatly afflicted, but in the end, the Lord blessed him with more than he had before He allowed him to be afflicted.

Afflictions should also drive us to Christ. God may forsake us, that we
may not forsake Him. A true child of God will be driven to pray, hope and
trust God all the more, when the roof of life seems to be caving in upon
them. If God hides His favor from us, we will naturally seek to cleave
closer to Him when His favor returns. God may have hidden his face from
David for a while, but David says, “O God, Thou art my God; I shall seek
Thee earnestly; my soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh yearns for Thee, in a
dry and weary land where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1. David says that
he seeks God earnestly and yearns for Him, even in a place of desolation.
Can we say that of ourselves? Would others say that of us?

The application from these two examples of Job and David is simple. If we feel deserted by God, or feel that we cannot find His favor – though we look forward and backward, right or left, we still must seek His face more. We still must rest in His mercy to a greater extent. We still must come before Him, humbly, and plead with Him for His restored favor. We have here two encouraging examples in Scripture (there are others also) where God was gracious to His servants, and let this be an encouragement to us, to follow their example.

The following incident won the runner-up prize in the 1999 Darwin Awards:

A Vermont native, Ronald Demuth, found himself in a difficult position.

While touring the Eagle’s Rock African Safari (Zoo) with a group of thespians from St. Petersburg, Russia, Mr. Demuth went overboard to show them one of America’s many marvels. He demonstrated the effectiveness of “Crazy Glue”… the hard way.

Apparently, Mr. Demuth wanted to demonstrate just how good the adhesive was, so he put about 3 ounces of the adhesive in the palms of his hands, and jokingly placed them on the buttocks of a passing rhino. The rhino, a resident of the zoo for the past thirteen years, was not initially startled as it has been part of the petting exhibit since its arrival as a baby.

However, once it became aware of its being involuntarily stuck to Mr.Demuth, it began to panic and ran around the petting area wildly making Mr. Demuth an unintended passenger.

“Sally [the rhino] hasn’t been feeling well lately. She had been very constipated. We had just given her a laxative and some depressants to relax her bowels, when Mr. Demuth played his juvenile prank,” said James Douglass, caretaker. During Sally’s tirade two fences were destroyed, a shed wall was gored, and a number of small animals escaped. Also, during the stampede, three pygmy goats and one duck were stomped to death.

As for Demuth, it took a team of medics and zoo caretakers’ to remove his hands from her buttocks. First, the animal had to be captured and calmed down.. However, during this process the laxatives began to take hold and Mr. Demuth was repeatedly showered with over 30 gallons of rhino diarrhea.

“It was tricky. We had to calm her down, while at the same time shield ourfaces from being pelted with rhino dung. I guess you could say that Mr. Demuth was into it up to his neck. Once she was under control, we had three people with shovels working to keep an air passage open for Mr. Demuth. We were able to tranquilize her and apply a solvent to remove his hands from her rear,” said Douglass. “I don’t think he’ll be playing with Crazy Glue for a while.”

What in the world was Mr. Demuth thinking???? I believe it is safe to say that he wasn’t thinking at all! Lest I be too harsh and critical, though,

I have to remember all the times in my life when I have “attached” myself to something sinful. The results were just as disastrous, and I have often found myself wondering, “What was I thinking?” The truth is, I really wasn’t thinking at all.

That’s the very nature of sin. We “attach” ourselves, thinking we can-always quit whenever we want to. We don’t even consider what the consequences will be. I appreciate this quote by an unknown author: “Sin will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you want to pay.

“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” (James 1:14-15

The Resurrection of Jesus – The Feast of First Fruits (Leviticus 23:11) – 18th of Nisan
The Resurrection of Jesus, the Feast of First Fruits is fulfilled as Jesus gives the First Fruits of the Holy Spirit to His disciples.

He arose, He arose, Hallelujah, Christ arose.

“that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭

In the end of the [Saturday] Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward [Sunday] the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary [wife of Cleophas] to see the tomb. ~ Matthew 28:1

Personal Reflection #10 – Resurrection Day “The Re-birth of Life”
Jesus demonstrates His Authority of Life over death.

Life, our meaning and purpose in it have now been answered once and for all in this the very Resurrection Life of Jesus. We now know that there is a God, that He has power to remove sins and to then give life over death, that He Loves us and that we are made alive to be friends with Him forever in His Eternal Resurrection Kingdom of Heaven.

How can we ever comprehend this joyous event, Life in Jesus, but comprehend it we must as it is the only way to eternal Life.
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: ~ Romans 1:4

Light shines! And with it Life! Jesus is the True Light! Jesus is the Life! God is not dead, God is Alive! Now we too are alive when Jesus breaths His Resurrection Spirit Life into us. Alive and united with the Holy God inside of us, that is Eternal Life!
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended [lit. understood] it not. ~ John 1:3-4

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:6

Old & New Testament Holy Week Prophecies

And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, All of you have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; The great temptations which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: Yet the LORD has not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day. ~ Deuteronomy 29:2-4

And He (Jesus) said unto them (Disciples), These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me. Then opened He their understanding [they became Born Again Christians], that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it was essential for Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all Nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And all of you are witnesses of these things. ~ Luke 24:44-48

And make one cherub (angel) on the one end, and the other cherub (angel) on the other end: even of the mercy seat (upon the Ark of the Covenant) shall all of you make the cherubims (angels) on the two ends thereof. ~ Exodus 25:19

But Mary [Magdalene] stood outside at the tomb weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the tomb, And sees two angels (cherubs) in white sitting, the one (cherub) at the head, and the other (cherub) at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. ~ John 20:11-12
John 20:27 Then saith He (Jesus) to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.

But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him: That the saying of Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Lord, who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? ~ John 12:37-3

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a New Spirit [Holy Spirit] within you; and I will take the stony [unrepentant] heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: ~ Ezekiel 11:19

And when He (Jesus) had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost (Spirit). ~ John 20:22

And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scripture … After that He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:4-6

Conclusions

Final thoughts about the Ministry, the Cross and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

After spending ten glorious days with Jesus, we can see that Jesus came to fulfill His plan and in doing so He acted deliberately and decisively. Jesus has a plan and a purpose for mankind and Jesus came to fulfill His plan and is continuing His purpose. Jesus did not meander around like a lost wondering poet nor did He allow the events and passions of the day to dictate His schedule but He remained true and accomplished “All that He came to do.” Jesus is God with full knowledge of mankind and of all events.
As we reflect on our visit with Jesus Christ and the disciples, remembering our gaze at the sight of Jesus on the cross and the astonishment of the empty tomb and our joy in meeting the resurrected Savior Jesus Christ, we realize that the Gospel is larger than life and that certainly the Gospel is larger than death. We also realize that the Gospel is much bloodier and even more holy than we can currently comprehend. We do realize that we have a God that loves us very much. We begin to see that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus from death to life is more glorious and more stunning than anything we can currently understand yet we also realize that in Jesus Christ mankind has a chance, a lifelong opportunity to receive an eternity in heaven that is secure, fulfilling and everlasting.
