God Told Me…I Am Ready To Pour Myself Out To The Church

I feel that in these last days there will be a new wine poured out on God’s children. As each of us awaits with great expectations of things to come. Almost like a realigning for the church.

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.”Romans 8:19 NIV

Just as Jesus Ministry began with Him turning the water into wine at Cana, it was almost like a prophecy of a changing times.

“He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’ ””Luke‬ ‭5:36-37, 39‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Even now as I mentioned above, I feel the pouring out of new wine. A wine of healing and redemption. The last day harvest is going to come in upon us like a broken dam. Because of this new wine, we must have new wine containers to catch the overflow of the Holy Spirits outpouring. The old containers will not be able to hold the new wine. And we will not be able to put patches on old traditions. Things must be made new.

Decisions will need to be made in our churches to either stay stagnant to old religious traditions are to welcome and receive the new wine. Our churches cannot stay stagnant, but must be ready to move into a new season.

And again, old containers (wine sacks) will not be able to manage, sustain, in the new season of wine.

Will this new season of wine be easy?

No!

For most of churches will go through a tough journey of change. The church may even go through man’s traditions of holding on to the old comfortable ways, and then loosing and missing of God’s blessing of harvest in the church.

Friends listen, God will not let the church settle in this last day harvest. If the establish church do not except the pouring out of new wine, then God will let His Spirit move in places that you would never expect it to move.

Again, the church can receive the new wine with new wine sacks ready for an infilling are their old wine sacks will burst open and fall into shredded pieces of trash.

I feel lost visions are going to be restored. There will also be a flowing of redemption and healing ministry.

Satan has worked hard the last few years to destroy the church. He has worked overtime to weary the workers. He has torn down the church through sin.

Because of sin in the church, I also know God will do a cleaning out, a sweeping of the church. I feel it is already started. It will either bring the church together for the glory of God, are churches will have to close their doors.

It is time to rebuild the temple of God. It is time for a sanctification of the church. It is time for a breakthrough anointing new wine which is the Holy Spirit of God working and restoration. It is a purification of the hearts of God’s children.

Church let’s not give up now. It is a time of new beginnings. It is a time of discernment and a willingness to obey the voice of God.

If we want to be a part of this manifestation and glory upon the church, we need to have a spirit of obedience to the Holy Spirit.

We must be willing to step out on a new journey, a journey of pouring of new wine.

Are your wine sacks ready?

I myself have asked Father God to make me new. To give me a new body, a new wine sack. I do not want a patch job on my life. I want to be made new. I want the new wine to pour out of me and overflow to this dying, lost and hurting world.

He’s Still Working On Me

I have been singing the little song all week. “He’s Still Working On Me”

“He’s still working on me, to make me what I want to be. It took Him just a week, to make the moon and the stars, the earth and sun and Jupiter and Mars. How patience and loving He must be, for He’s still working on me.

There ought to be a sign hanging on my heart. Don’t judge me yet, there’s and unfinished part. For I being made according to His plan, molded by the Master’s loving hands.”

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you, and before you were born out of the womb I sanctified you and I ordained you to be a prophet unto the nations.”

I love gospel music. It touches me with a happiness that only God can give to us. I can get caught up in a song, but I can also get emotional on the Word of God.

I think the last few days have been a time of thankfulness to God. A time of restoration and healing.

Last year for many we all had a remodeling time. We all had to be put back in the furnace to cook a little more. To be refined.

I think about Paul when he said, “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2. Corinthians 12:10

He said this, of course, because he knew that God would continue to do the work needed in him. Paul did have that sincere belief and hope…just as we should have.

Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

And I am confident to know that my Father God will perfect you and me for His glory.

I thank God that He loves us and is patience with us. I thank God He does not judge us when we fall, but reaches down and picks us up. He is constantly teaching, if we will just pay attention. God loves to mold beautiful things. If you don’t believe me, just look around.

WOW! What a merciful God we have. He shows us so much love and grace.

If you feel like you are overwhelmed in life, just look to your Father God. And have the faith to know, He’s got this. He will work a Miracle for you.

My dog Cali and I share a banana every night just before we go to bed. And, she will tell me about it if I forget.

Tonight as I was peeling our banana another song came to me. All of a sudden I started singing a old country song, written by ‪Bill Anderson‬.

Throw me a peanut, peeled me a nannar, I come swinging from a coconut tree. Throw me a peanut, peeled me a nannar, you sure made a monkey out of me.

So you can say that during my refining period, I have not lost my sense of humor. And God just gave me a God wink by making me smile and laugh. That shows me, God loves me so much, that he also has a sense of humor.

I guess you could say, “tonight, Father God and Pat had a good time laughing together.

We Are Made In The Image Of Our Father God.

I absolutely love quilts. When Joe and I married my Aunt gave us a beautiful quilt that she had made for us. 

I also have a beautiful guilt that my mama made for us that I use it as a bedspread in one of our bedrooms. 

I guess you can say I am just an old soul. I walk in antique shops and cannot believe the items that some precious hands of a mother or grandmother lovingly took the time to make, but their family has given away and even sold. I pick those crocheted dollies up and let my fingers feel the love in each piece. I even smell of them and I smell the fragrances of home. 

I imagine the person crocheting or quilting taking the time out of their busy life to share their gift of time and love. I think about their lives and wonder what they may have been going through in their lives.

But my heart overflows with joy and tears fill my eyes as I feel the love they must have put into each piece of fabric.

This Christmas our youngest daughter blessed the family with beautiful pottery that she made. She did not just paint them. She took the clay in her hands and molded and shaped each piece with love. She said, “Mom, I can look at the first pieces I made and I can see imperfections in them. But, the move I let my hands work, each new piece had less imperfections in them.”

You know that same love is how our Father God feels about us. He lovingly molds and shapes our lives into pieces of art.  And at first we may have imperfections. Then we are remolded, put back in the fire to help us grow as He reshapes us. But, as we continue to give our Father God more of ourselves, slowly He is able to remove all the imperfections from our lives.

In other words, we have to find exactly how pottery is made if we want to fully understand what God is trying to tell us in this most incredible analogy.

Here is the key verse from Scripture that will give us this specific revelation that God is the Potter and we are His clay:

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)

Please right now, invite Father God to have full direction over your life.

Allow Him to mold you into the perfect image of Himself. Allow your life to become a beautiful tapestry of God’s image in you. Give Him your whole heart and let Him be the artist.

Quilt of Holes

As I faced my Maker at the last judgment, I knelt before the Lord along with all the other souls.

Before each of us laid our lives like the squares of a  quilt in many piles; an angel sat before each of us sewing our quilt squares together into a tapestry that is our life.

But as my angel took each piece of cloth off the pile, I noticed how ragged and empty each of my squares was. They were filled

with giant holes. Each square was labeled with a part of my life that had been difficult, the challenges and temptations I was faced with in every day life. I saw hardships that I endured, which were the largest  holes of all.

I glanced around me. Nobody else had such squares. Other than a tiny hole here and there, the other tapestries were filled with rich color and the bright hues of worldly fortune. I gazed upon my own life and was disheartened.

My angel was sewing the ragged pieces of cloth together, threadbare and empty, like binding air.

Finally the time came when each life was to be displayed, held up to the light, the scrutiny of truth. The others rose; each in turn, holding up their tapestries. So filled their lives had been. My angel looked upon me, and nodded for me to rise.

My gaze dropped to the ground in shame. I hadn’t had all the earthly fortunes. I had love in my life, and laughter. But there had also been trials of illness, and wealth, and false accusations that took from me my world, as I knew it. I had to start over many times. I often struggled with the temptation to quit, only to somehow muster the strength to pick up and begin again. I spent many nights on my knees in prayer, asking for help and guidance in my life. I had often been held up to ridicule, which I endured painfully, each time offering it up to the Father  God in hopes that I would not melt within my skin beneath the judgmental gaze of those who unfairly judged me.

And now, I had to face the truth. My life was what it was, and I had to accept it for what it was. 

I rose and slowly lifted the combined squares of my life to the light.

An awe-filled gasp filled the air. I gazed around at the others who stared at me with wide eyes.

Then, I looked upon the tapestry before me. Light  flooded the many holes, creating an image, the face of Christ. Then our Lord stood before me, with warmth and love in His eyes. He said, “Every time you gave over your life to Me, it became My life, My hardships, and My struggles.

Each point of light in your life is when you stepped aside and let Me shine through, until there was more of Me than there was of you.”

May all our quilts be threadbare and worn, allowing Christ to shine through!

“Pray without ceasing.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭Last night late I heard my Nephew died. He had a loving heart but as many of us do, he constantly fought some demons in his life, as we all do at times.

I pray he is at peace now. Resting in the arms of Jesus.

Since I found out the news I have thought about my mama. She loved him so much.

Then I have been thinking about one of my mama’s favorite songs. She loved the song, “How Long Has It Been.”

I got to spend some precious last months and days in 2002 with my mama, before she took her Heavenly Journey Home.

Before mama took her journey home, I had the privilege to stay with my sister Ruby to help take care of mama.

Before it came to the point that we could not leave her, we would put her
to bed, and then give her time to spend with God, after giving her plenty of hugs, and saying I Love You, over and over. Sometimes we would sit and
have prayer with her, but she still like that alone time with God. See, one of us always slept in the room with her.

We had monitors in her room so we could hear her if she needed us. Oh, she also had a bell that she would ring. I still hear that bell, at times, and I feel it is mama just letting me know everything is alright.

At night we-would listen to her prayers. She would sometimes cry as she prayed for her unsaved grandchildren, friends and family, Pastor’s, churches and everything Her prayer was not the same every night. And she did not have a time limit. She would pray for minutes to hours, and each night it was like a new song to God.

We would hear her pause as if she was listening to the voice of God for the answers to her questions. We would hear her say Thank you God, as He spoke to her.

I think this time with her was so wonderful, as well, as each morning when we got her up in her chair, and she would reach for her Bible to do her
morning Bible Study, and then pray again.

But one of the things that touch my heart was she waited on God. She would pray, and pray. She would bombard the gates of Heaven, and then she would tarried at the Throne of God, at the feet of her Saviour, for she knew He would answer her prayers.

Now, I ask you the question, how long has it been, since you tarried at
the feet of Jesus?

It seems at times we have become to busy to take the time to tarry, and
wait, and listen for the voice of God.

Please take the time to read the words to the song below, then maybe you
will decide that it is time you spent a little more time, at the feet of your Heavenly Father.

Walk Beside God

And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismaued. Deuteronomy 31:8

I learned at a young age, that if my parents and I went somewhere that if I stayed close to them and I did not walk away they protected and watched over me. They directed me and I learned lessons of safety and protection and it helped to me stay out of trouble. If I started to turn and go in a different direction, they would call me back. When I listened and obeyed, I knew I was safe.

This in turn taught me fast that when I am walking with someone that obviously I am not going to walk in opposite directions. If I walk in a different direction I can’t listen to them, I can’t enjoy them, I cannot share things with them, and I won’t be able to understand them.

This is the way it is when we walk with the Lord, our will is going to align with His will. Since we are walking side by side with Him our focus will be on Him.

When we are constantly walking with someone we are going to understand them better than we ever did. We are going to know their heart. Walking with God is not just a time in the prayer and Bible study, it’s a lifestyle that we can only obtain through Jesus Christ. It is an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father.

As God has me on a new venture. God has told me what I need to do, but, as humans even myself, I still want to hold on to some things and not let God take the lead.

But God is trying to show me, that part of the time is over, and new ministry has begun. It is time to walk on new ground. Healing ground. Restoration ground.

God is using my gift of writing poetry, devotions and books as my new venture.

Even though He had to sit me down hard, to the place of trials, hurt, anger and then nubbiest so I could listen to Him, and to put right in front of my face something very special and important in the gifts He wants me to use.

So, as I finally listened and obey in other words walked in the direction God has for me, a door has begun to open fast.

The Three Trees

Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing
their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, ‘Someday I hope to be a
treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I
could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the
beauty’

Then the second tree said, ‘Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take
Kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world.
Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull.’

Finally the third tree said, ‘I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest Tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and
look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to
them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people
will always remember me.’

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of
woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said,
‘This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood
to a carpenter, ‘and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because
he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree the woodsman said, ‘This looks like a strong tree. I
should be able to sell it to the shipyard.’ The second tree was happy
Because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened
because he knew that if they cut him down, his dreams would not come true.
One of the woodsmen said, ‘I don’t need any special wood quality from my
tree, I’ll take this one,’ and he cut it down.

When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was
not at all what he had prayed for.

The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of
being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end.

The third tree was cut into large timber and left in a pile of lumber, alone in the dark…his dreams of being the tallest tree, reaching toward
heaven were gone.

The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.

Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn, she gave birth and they
placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first
tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this
manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event
and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second
tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the
water, a great storm arose and the tree didn’t think it was strong enough
to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and He stood and said ‘Peace’ and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had
carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the
streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came
to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at
the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was
strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as
was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that when things don’t seem to be going your
way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in
Him, God will give you great gifts.

Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had
imagined.

We don’t always know what God’s plans are for us. We just know that His
Ways are not our ways, but His ways are always

I receive the most beautiful pink Christmas Cactus from our precious family and grandchildren. And it is full of blooms. I went straight to the Farmer Almanac to see how to take care of it. And I even got to FT my sister Ruby who grows them beautifully and asked her what I needed to do. To me this gift is one that will last for years, if water with care, and loved with sunshine. It is one I will remember my precious loving family each time it blooms. I love a Christmas Cactus, and I love Christmas Poinsettias

LEGEND OF THE POINSETTIA

A charming story is told of Pepita, a poor Mexican girl who had no gift to present the Christ Child at Christmas Eve Services. As Pepita walked slowly to the chapel with her cousin Pedro, her heart was filled with sadness rather than joy.

“I am sure, Pepita, that even the most humble gift, if given in love, will be acceptable in His eye.” said Pedro.

Not knowing what else to do. Pepita knelt by the roadside and gathered a handful of common weeds, fashioning them into a small bouquet. Looking at the scraggly bunch of weeds, she felt more saddened and embarrassed than ever by the the humbleness of her offering. She fought back a tear as she entered the small village chapel.

As she approached the alter, she remembered Pedro’s kind words: “Even the most humble gift, if given in love, will be acceptable in His eyes.” She felt her spirit lift as she knelt to lay the bouquet at the foot of the nativity scene.

Suddenly, the bouquet of weeds burst into blooms of brilliant red, and all who saw them were certain that they had witnessed a Christmas miracle right before their eyes.

From that day on, the bright red flowers were known as the Flores de Noche Buena, or Flowers of the Holy Night, for they bloomed each year during the Christmas season.

Today, the common name for this plant is the poinsettia!

WHAT IS A POINSETTIA

The poinsettia is a plant from Mexico. It is known for its red and green foliage. Mostly used around Christmas for floral displays. Also known as the Christmas Even Flower. The star like leaf pattern was said to resemble the Star of Bethlehem (Christmas Star). The red color is to symbolize the blood of Jesus Christ and His crucifixion on the cross.

Are You Truly Able To Love and Commit To Others

I laughed today as a friend said, “Pat, your devotions are changing. God and you have really been stepping on my toes. Am I going to have to wear my steel toes boot for awhile?”

My answer was, “Honey, God got me first, before you. There is not a devotional that God allows me to share that He has to stomp on my toes first.”

I have really been studying deep into God’s Word as it deals with everyday life. There are too many sugar coated sermons being preached and not enough, what does God’s Word say about life.

Studying for the devotion tonight, I have to asked myself,”Am I able to withstand everything that it takes to give and commit my life to others?”

Being committed to family, friends, children and life has to first start within yourself as a child of God. If you cannot love yourself, you cannot truly loves others. You will constantly doubt, criticize, and not fully realize that you are allowing Satan to cause a great division in your life.

There were several scriptures I could of chosen to use, but decided to share from 1 King 19

Elisha…took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them…He set out to follow Elijah and became his servant. — 1 Kings 19:21

Let’s break this down. Elijah the prophet placed his cloak over the shoulders of Elisha a farmer. At God’s command, Elijah was asking Elisha to leave everything he knew, everything that he was comfy with and do the work of prophet for God’s people. Elisha was willing to be totally commented to Elijah. This was not a small request, and it would require a great commitment from Elisha.

The scriptures tell us that Elisha made his commitment clear. He brought an end to his old life by killing his oxen, burning the plow to cook the meat, and sharing it with his family and neighbors. They joined in as witnesses recognizing this change in his life. Elisha wanted to show God and everyone that he was fully committed to this new call and mentoring relationship. Trusting God as he went forward, Elisha did not look back.

Can we today do the same thing? Can we give a total commitment to what God is trying to do in our lives?

If we say yes, then we must be willing to be taught and redirected. And yes, it will require commitment to letting the Spirit work in our lives.

We cannot stop and look at the first journey in our lives. If we do, then this new journey, this new commitment is not going to work. We must look to God who is as the scripture says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭

Commitment to God and the people He places in our lives does not always demand a turn around, but it does require placing everything in God’s service. Taking a step of faith requires a full commitment.

Like Elisha, do you need to put away things from your past to be committed to being discipled by the Spirit?

Yes, you may! Until you release the passed, you cannot step into your future. You must let go of all the times people have hurt and disappointed you.

I will tell you now, they do not care. They are going on with their lives. So, do not let them be a yoke around your neck. It will slowly choke you to death.

As the scriptures share with us. God’s Word works to restore and renew our lives. He works to put us either on track or back on track to make us fruitful. Like Elijah, we too can easily find ourselves down, lonely, and discouraged, but the Lord is the God of all comfort and He has committed Himself to our renewal and restoration. But we need to make ourselves available to God’s direction for our renewal.

Just as Elijah first went to find Elisha who became an encouragement to the prophet.

We must let God renew us, restore us, so we can be committed to the people God beings to us to help us on our journey. For they will be encouragers to help us along the journey.

Do You Struggle With Accountability?

Galatians 6:1-5 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.

First, I want to share just a little question and advice.

Let’s say, “you have a doctor’s appointment and you have decided you just do not want to go, how do you handle the phone call?” How much time before that call do you spend thinking of excuses to give?

Maybe, you have promised a friend your time, but you just do not have the time and have to cancel.

Even, you gave your word to someone that no matter what they can depend on you.

How you handle these situations is your accountability. Your accountability is not only to the person involved, but to yourself and too God.

I can hear you say now, “I try my best to live a life of accountability, but at times, I get so tired, because it seems I am being accountable and doing my part, but others, just seem to be using my goodness.”

Remember, you kept your life accountable to God, and let God do the work needed to show others what they need to do to be accountable to others.

Accountability should be a staple of your life. If you are truly a child of God, your life should be marked by accountability. If you are not able to to stand on your accountability you are letting not only God down, but everyone involved.

I myself needed to break an appointment a couple of years back. My youngest daughter was with me at the time. I made the phone call and started telling why I could not make the appointment. It was long and drawn out. After I hung up my daughter said, “Mom, why did you go into everything you talked about? All you had to do is say, I am calling to cancel. No excuses were needed”

Oh, my gracious, my daughter was telling me exactly what I taught her when she was growing up and under my care and teaching as her Mom. I did not need to explained. I just needed to call and say, “I will not be able to make my appointment.” 

If the appointment was needed to be made in the future, I could if said, “I need to cancel and will contact you at a later date to re-schedule.”

How many times do we make excuses when we just need to be exact to the point.

Now I do understand we all have true emergencies, but when you excuses to not stand on your word is broken, your accountability is discredited.

Poor or selfish accountability will greatly hurt you in the long run. In the here-and-now, it will drive a wedge between you and others around you. 

True accountability isn’t selfish. True accountability is concerned with the pursuit of holiness, not the relief of guilt or the justification of sin. 

We must learn how accountability is a true mirror of our lives. 

I myself have an accountability partner. We are able to speak our hearts in love. And we understand each other when we speak out of consideration st times. Why? Because we know each other’s heart.  So, you can say we have a healthy accountability. 

The hardest aspects of accountability are consistency and honesty. If you don’t consistently and honestly act in a Christian manner, you’ll find that you’re slowly  destroying your accountability as others view your life.

Faith and Honesty

My husband and I have been watching the Kendrick brothers movies this weekend. We finished up tonight with Fly Wheel.

The entire movie is on honesty, faith and living and walking in the favor and blessings of God.

After watching Fly Wheel, I knew the devotion tonight had to be on the main qualities that were represented in this movie.

I am including several Bible verses for this devotional.

Why be honest? Why have faith?

When we are honest we are able to enjoy peace of mind and maintain self-respect for ourselves and our families.

It helps us to build strength of character, which allows us to be of service to Father God and others.

When we are trustworthy in the eyes of Our Father God, we will be sitting in the favor of our Father God.

Think about this, if we are dishonest in our words or actions, we not only hurt ourselves we also hurt others as well.

If we lie, steal, cheat, or neglect to give the full amount of work for our pay, we lose our self-respect.

We lose the guidance of the Holy Ghost. We may find that we have damaged relationships with family members and friends and that people no longer trust us.

Being honest often requires courage and sacrifice, especially when others try to persuade us to justify dishonest behavior.

If we find ourselves in such a situation, remember that the lasting peace that comes from being honest is more valuable than the momentary relief of following the crowd.

And our Father God will always have our backs. He will stand up for us. He will fight our battles, and justify our character if need to be.

When we are children of tFather God, we will never have to worry about our future.

Psalm 63: 1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life,my lips will glorify you.4 I will praise you as long as I live,and in your name I will lift up my hands.5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. 7 Because you are my help,I sing in the shadow of your wings.8 I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. 9 Those who want to kill me will be destroyed; they will go down to the depths of the earth. 10 They will be given over to the sword and become food for jackals. 11 But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God will glory in him while the mouths of liars will be silenced.

Proverbs 12:22 – Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly [are] his delight.

John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Proverbs 19:1 – Better [is] the poor that walketh in his integrity, than [he that is] perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

2 Corinthians 8:21 – Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

1 Peter 3:10-12 – For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.

Philippians 4:8-9 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Colossians 3:9 – Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Proverbs 11:3 – The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Matthew 5:37 – But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Proverbs 16:13 – Righteous lips [are] the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.

Luke 6:31 – And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Hebrews 13:18 – Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Exodus 20:16 – Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
