Being Thankful While Trying Too Find Your Tail.

Being Thankful While Trying Too Find Your Tail.

Of all the devotions I have written, I get a request so often to repeat this one.

Maybe you must be feeling, you lost your tail?

I think during the last almost two years of disasters, riots, unrest, covid, jobs lost, craziness of the world and having to be stuck in our homes, we all have had to look for our tails.

We need to work together helping each other find our tails.

Isaiah 40:
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Are You Eeyore?
Author: Pat Aman
November 21,2003

Can you be thankful while trying to find your tail… This have been so busy, I think a couple of days I lost mine.

Have you ever felt like Eeyore. You know the little gray patched up donkey in the Winnie the Pooh series. They lived in a beautiful 100 acre woods Eeyore use to say, “Is my tail still on?” Then he would say, “let’s have a look, and he turned slowly round to the place where his tail had been a little while ago, and then, finding that he couldn’t catch it up, he turned round the other way, until he came back to where he was at first, and then he put his head down and looked between his front legs, and at last he said, with a long, sad sigh, “I believe you’re right, Pooh, it is still there.”

Sometimes I feel the same way, I feel I have lost my tail, and cannot find it. I think that we sometimes go to that 100 acre woods, a beautiful place, but it becomes our gloomy place just like Eeyore.

When you are in that gloomy place it is hard to give praise and thanks when we feel like Eeyore that we have lost our tail.

Even though Eeyore had great compassion for others, and was always trying to help people, he still at times felt, Oh, poor me.

See, he lost his love for life. He some how lost the sense of a positive attitude. His fire had gone out.

In our lives we all at times may think, I am burned out, woe is me. We still truck along trying to do our best, but we have to continually put patches on our lives just to hold us together.

God speaks of this very thing in Revelation chapter two. He tells the church at Ephesus, that He knows all their good deeds, but He is getting a little disappointed in them, because they have lost their first love. “Him.”

Again, I myself sometimes feel tired, even though I keep getting up from being knock down, that my first love is getting depleted from my life. I need to get that fire back, the fire that helps build my faith up. Yes, that is when I need to get down on my knees and look up to God and find my tail.

God promises to give strength to the weary, and I tell you now, I have to stand on that promise.

So, if today, you are feeling like Eeyore, and you have lost your tail, and are sitting in your gloomy place look up to the Heavenly Father.

Yes, get back on your knees, and look up to God and say, “I think you are right God, I still have it together.”

And then begin singing, praising and thanking God and see your life turn around, as we become thankful instead of woe is me.

In others words, you may have to be like Eeyore, turn around, check things out, and see if you may have to let some things go that maybe clouding up your way. The way God wants you to go.

You may as Eeyore, have to get in a downward position on your knees, so God can show you that your tail is still on and your headed in just the way He wants you to go.

You just need to turn around and follow God with Thankfulness and Praise.

Nicodemus

Nicodemus
Author: Pat Aman
11/15-1999/rev2021

In studying today, I thought of Nicodemus. And the devotion I wrote many years ago.
“I Wonder When Did Nicodemus Believe?

Isaiah 9:2 says, “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death upon them hath the light shines.”

At John 3:1-3 tells us that Nicodemus first came to Jesus under the cover of darkness, a questioner: “Who are you really? How can a man be born again?” Jesus answered his questions, and raised more. But John does not say that Nicodemus believed.

Perhaps he mulled the questions and answers over, for St. John 7: 50-52, tells us he defended Jesus when other Pharisees accused him: “Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?” But John still does not say he believed.

Then, unexpectedly, St. John 19: 39-40, shows Nicodemus performing an act of great faith. When Joseph of Arimathes took Jesus’ body down from the cross, Nicodemus came with expensive spices and helped anoint the body for burial. According to Hebrew law this made him unclean, he could not celebrate Passover. Further, it publicly identified him with Jesus when even the disciples had fled.

I wonder when Nicodemus decided to believe in Jesus, in a blinding moment, or by a slow process of growth?

John’s way of telling the story of Nicodemus shows me that when we first believe is not what really matters. What matters is that we, like Nicodemus, finally arrive at Jesus, to offer our wealth, our reputation, our entire being and our service.

I wonder, if Nicodemus had come to us by night, we would have like Jesus taken time to answer his questions? Even worse, would we might have just assumed that Nicodemus was was a good person, and he did not need Jesus, because he was already good?

How many people will be in Hell because we did not take the time to talk to them, but, we judge the good are bad situation of their lives incorrectly?

Judging people is a fault in this world today. People read the Facebook, papers and listen to every media outlet, and believe everything that is in it.

I feel that we do not need to judge someone until we walk in their shoes.

Maybe even meet with the person that we are judging and find the true facts about the story. Then we would learned the truth as well as find out that the person just like Nicodemus is doing greater things in the community that is helping people. But, that person needs your love, mercy, grace.

So, before you judge someone, remember God tell us that we should not judge our brother and sister, but lift them up in the Holy Love of God.

Remember one day you may fall, and it just may be the person you have judged and torn down, that will be there to lift you up.

GOD WANTS YOU FREE

GOD WANTS YOU FREE
Author: Pat Aman

I believe every believer who loves God wants to be holy. But not every believer is actually living holy. Many times we have old habits we’ve never overcome, even though we’ve lived with them for years.

If you’ve struggled like this, even for years, I know you can be free. God wants you free, and the Scripture says the truth will make you free. If you continue in the Word of God, it will make you free and you can live holy.

Jesus said in His prayer to the Father “Sanctify them through the truth, the word of truth”( John 17:17)

I don’t care if what’s holding you back is the strongest addiction there is, God will and can set you free. All He needs is your choice, your quality decision that, “No matter what, this is it. I’m leaving bondage behind.”

God is faithful. He’s just waiting on the opportunity to help you. He is a merciful and loving Father. (Jeremiah 15:19) says, “Therefore thus saith the LORD, if thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me, and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth, let them return unto thee; but return not thus unto them.”

“If thou return…” As a believer, that’s what God’s asking you to do. To draw nigh unto Him and He’ll draw nigh unto you with every deliverance, every blessing, every prosperity that you need. If you’re a person who’s moved away from God, He’s asking you to return. If you’ve never been saved, He’s asking you to come to Him and make Jesus your Lord and Savior.

“The precious from the vile…” He wants us to learn to separate in our lives the precious things that are His from the vile things of this world. God won’t force you to do that. He doesn’t require you to live a life separated unto Him because He wants to be a dictator. NO That’s not God’s way at all.

God wants you to do what He says and walk in His ways because they produce freedom. They produce the best for you. You can’t walk in the ways of the world and be free. God loves you. He wants you to be able to wake up every morning happy, full of joy, with your needs met, your family around you, and no trouble on any side. And He wants you to be free of all those things you’ve struggles with for years.

Accept Father God’s love, salvation, and grace.

How Can I Pray Without Ceasing, If I Cannot Walk In My Prayer?

How Can I Pray Without Ceasing, If I Cannot Walk In My Prayer?
Author: Pat Aman

But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13 and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another. 14 We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. 16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:12-19

We should aim is to be fruitful people of love whose lives are nourishing for others; we want to be durable in that and not wither when the heat comes; and we want to be eternally significant or prosperous. That’s our goal, because when we are fruitful like that in the midst of the drought of hardship, God will get the glory. But the key to that kind of fruitfulness, we have seen in Psalm 1 is meditation on the Word of God day and night. We must be a Word-saturated people.

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”Psalms‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭

So, can you truly kneel in Prayer and say the Lord’s Prayer?

Can I Truly Say The “Lord’s Prayer”
Author: M.W. Gass

I cannot say Our, if I live in a watertight spiritual compartment; if I think a special place in heaven is reserved for my denomination.

I cannot say Father, if I do not demonstrate the relationship in my daily life.

I cannot say which art in heaven, if I am so occupied with the earth that I am laying up no treasure there.

I cannot say hallowed be Thy Name, if I, who am called by His name, am not holy.

I cannot say Thy kingdom come, if I am not doing all in my power to hasten its coming.

I cannot say Thy will be done, if I am questioning, resentful of, or disobedient to His will for me.

I cannot say on earth as it is in heaven, if I am not prepared to devote my life here to His service.

I cannot say give us this day our daily bread, if I am living on past experience, or if I am an under-the-counter shopper.

I cannot say forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us, if I harbor a grudge against anyone.

I cannot say lead us not into temptation, if I deliberately place myself, or remain, in a position where I am likely to be tempted.

I cannot say deliver us from evil, if I am not prepared to fight it in the spiritual realm with the weapon of prayer.

And if I cannot say this prayer honestly, knowing it will cost everything. Me totally giving my entire bring to God, then I cannot say “Amen”, unless I can honestly say, “No matter the cost to me, this is my prayer.”

Should We Obey The Government?

Should We Obey The Government?
Romans 13:13

After the devotional before this one I have had several questions from people from Canada, California to North Carolina.

I had to pray and seek God’s direction on this very question stated above.
So, here is my heart beliefs.

This could actually be a six weeks study I soon realized. So, I just stated my own heart and belief. But, none of us will truly know the truth until we stand before Father God ourselves on our knees for our own actions. But, Father God knows our hearts.

Yes, absolutely we should not break the law. But, we should also should follow Fathers God’s commandments and the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Being a follower of Christ certainly doesn’t mean we should always go along with everything a government tells us to do. There are times we must “obey God rather than men”

“And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!” But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭5:27-29‬ ‭

My husband and I have been vaccinated, because we studied on the vaccines, prayed about the vaccines, and listen to what the Holy Spirit told us to do and and directed us. We chose to be vaccinated because Joe’ travels and I have had over 17 surgeries.

And yes, we wear a mask in stores and places because of our heart beliefs.

But, we will not judge and cannot judge what others feel they must do. We just do what is right for our family.

Our church lets people decide to wear a mask. They do not hold judgment on anyone’s personal beliefs. Only God can do that….

But, our church uses the arm bands system. You wear the color you chose for your family.

  1. Green band means I will hug or shake your hand.
  2. Yellow band means I will talk to you but I prefer to stay six – ten feet away.
  3. Red band means I am here. I will wave to you, but I prefer absolutely no contact. So, I chose to enter side doors and sit in section that is separated. I will also leave through those doors.

This is a very hard time for all of us right now. It is a hard position to even talk about.

I have read Romans 13:13 in 25+ versions of the Bible.

All I can say is each of us will be held accountable for our actions one day.

I think of the government of China. The Chinese government because of over population commanded a few years back all baby girls be killed at birth. They only wanted sons to live. A lot of Chinese women hid and tried to adopt their baby daughters out to people in the USA through Christians adoption agencies hidden in China.

So, this was a time I would not have followed government.

And I do not believe in abortion, so I cannot follow government agencies to help women kill their babies.

But, I will continue to pray for our government officials.

When the time is nearing for Jesus to return there will be people including government that will try to shut our voices and put us under government rule, just like China did in killing all baby girls.

There will be a time when our Bibles will be taken away and our buildings we assemble in be destroyed, burn down, even as the church is assembled together.

Millions of Jews were killed during the Holocaust, in their homes and Synagogues, because they fought against communism. They were persecuted, slaughtered and killed.

So, I ask you to pray and then you must just listen to the Holy Spirit talking to you. You must follow your heart and know Father God will direct you.

I truly had hoped to give a more direct answer, that was asked to me today, but in the world today, things and people have changed.

Father God has never changed, but people have made new laws that are actually taking our rights away. Our voices away.

The Bible says that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 NLT). God is not limited by your circumstances. He is limited by your unbelief..”

And yes, our family continues to wear mask, use hand sanitizer and spray our clothes and shoes with antibacterial spray before we get in the car after we leave a store.

But, that is our right to chose to do those things to protect others as well as ourselves.

And it is others rights to pray and be directed in the decision that is best for their family.

There are so many things we do not understand now and never will on this earth.

But, as God’s Word says, ““Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:8-13‬ ‭

Below are scriptures of concern to several people.

And each person requiring my thoughts love one another and respect one another.

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.”

Healing Scriptures

Tonight I am going to share some healing scriptures with you. If you need healing in your body, mind, spirit and soul, prong these out and put all over your house. Write them on sticky notes, and stick them everywhere. Every time you see them, read the out loud, speaking your healing. Believe by faith and it shall be!

The Bible speaks often of the miraculous healing through the work of Jesus Christ and having faith in God during tough times. This remains true for us today who may live with various ailments and who have many struggles.

The Bible says that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits” ( Proverbs 18:21 ). Of course, the “tongue” in this verse represents that which tongues produce: words.

Praying Scripture back to God is a wonderful way to focus on his promises and provision. You can pray these Bible Verses out-loud over your life, sickness, and your loved ones. In addition, here is a short prayer for healing that you can use: Father, help me to keep my focus on you when the pain and hurt are overwhelming. Help me to be faithful and to see the good and blessings that surround me. Please strengthen my mind, heart, and body, and heal me today. May the Holy Spirit guide me in peace and comfort today. In the Name of Jesus Amen.”

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? Can Pastors Have Friends?

Can Pastors Have Friends?
September 4, 2015/21– 5:26 am

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Can a Minister have close friends?

See, as a Minister myself, there are times we need to talk to someone besides just God.

But, who can we trust with our private thoughts, emotions and personal lives?

Yes, we have our spouse, but, even our spouse needs a confident person to vent their feelings.

Still if I talk to someone in the church about things, what will happen?

I read an article and it had a startling quote in there from H.B. London, head of pastoral ministries for Focus on the Family. He disclosed that “at least 70 percent of pastors in the United States claim they have no friends.”

This is absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable to me. No wonder most pastors don’t make it in ministry long.

So why don’t they develop friends?

There’s tons of reason but here’s a few that come to my mind.

1) False Expectations: Many want their pastor to be friendly to everyone but close to no one!

2) False Assumptions: Many pastors have been told “You can’t EVER, EVER, trust people because they’ll use things you share with them against you one day.” (Side Note: Didn’t seem to stop Jesus.)

3) False Accusations: Many pastors will be criticized if they have close friends. If a normal person has close friends we call it healthy. If a pastor has close friends we call it a “clique.”

Pastors, don’t fall for it. You’ve been created for deep connectedness like everyone else. Develop and cultivate your close friendships (and encourage your spouse to do the same). You’ll need them. Every single one of them!“

God will show you discernment of the people He places around you. And He places certain people for certain circumstances in your life.

Friends rejuvenate and renew us. I have friends that refreshes my spirit through their steady reliance upon God’s promises. Anothers may refresh my spirit through their hopeful love for people. And some friends just all around encourages me through their unfeigned humility, and and I seem most productive when they minister within and from life-giving relationships.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.”John 15:13-17

According to the New Testament Bible, Jesus said that His friends were those who kept His word, His sayings, and obeyed the things that He commanded (see the Gospel of John chapter 15). He also stated that His disciples, followers, were His friends.

This includes the twelve disciples closest to Him, and those who were not included in that twelve such as Martha, Mary, Lazarus. Several women were also His friends in a sisterly way and they ministered to Him i.e. they would have helped Him with meals, sowing needs and such like. Their names were Susanna, Joanna, Mary (We see this in Luke 8:3). Those who follow Jesus are His friends—and the New Testament makes it clear that this includes those who follow Him today by obeying Him.

It is for certain there are people who play games with peoples lives. And it hurts!

People use all kind of excuses to only have you around at their convenience.

I do not know about you all, but, my husband and I cherish the people God blessed us with to take under our arms of love. We do not choose to love them today and hate them tomorrow. We do not just have them when we want then for convenience. And we have never understood people who live their lives treating others like objects you put away in storage when you do not need them.

I do not know about you, but we hate being shut up in a closet out of sight, until someone needs us. We do not like playing games with people we love and invest our hearts and souls into them unconditionally.

I found out that usually when this happens, it is because others are maybe going through things that they think someone will judge their actions. They are maybe even embarrassed by their actions. When God placed you there to help lift you them up. You are there to help pick them up and love them.

But, when you comfort them they make everything your fault. They twist every word you say into what they want to hear and not what you really meant in love. They will tell you, you interfered. When in reality you just love them to much and they did not understand your love.

The world is filled with opinions about what others should or should not think and do. With rare exception, most people are on the alert for others’ opinions about themselves. I’ve noticed this in certain comments: “You’ll think this is crazy…” or “I’m sure he thinks that…”

Jesus did not let the opinions of others affect him, especially when they consisted of lavish affirmation or hostile disapproval. Imagine if he had caved into what others decided about his teaching and actions. Instead, Jesus remained authentic and honest, showing by example that the judgments of others need not define our lives. The authentic quality we bring to our daily behavior is what counts. Today, let us be attentive to how much we allow others’ opinions to influence how we live.

Let’s not throw away the life line of love that Father God blessed you with.

After a while that life line gets weakens from the pulling and letting go of over casting and one day may break when you really needs it.

Remember to cherish, and love others as Father God loves us.

“If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:3-5, 7-8, 13‬ ‭

Father God Restores

Father God Restores His Children
Author: Pat Aman

God told us we had been faithful”. And we realized we were in the battle.

He said, “Even under everything you both have gone through you never left me. And even how less or much was in your bank account, you always paid your tithes and offering first. You understood, Give and It Will Be Given To You pressed down shaken together men shall give into your bosom (Luke 6:38)
You both understood ““Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.” ‭‭(Malachi‬ ‭3:8-12‬), now is time for Restoration.

See, we had learned giving is an attitude that allows us to give all that we are, have and possess in the Holy Spirit to provide greater glory for God.

You studied My word. You prayed daily with your family. You gave your time for service to others. You raised you children to have faith in me. Now it is time for restoration my children.”

Joe and I experience the devil stealing from us.

And we have testimonials of Father God blessing us over and over for what Satan stole.

But when we were going through it was almost as if everything was been sucked down into this black hole of darkness.

We sat down and made a list of all that the devil had stolen. Not because we were dwelling on the lost, but just because we wanted a visual list in front of our eyes to be able to thank God for His seven fold restoration every time we looked at the visual list on paper.

And it was hard when the list included friends we had help, given jobs and trusted. People like Accountants, Banker, Bank Employees, Lawyers who decided they wanted what we had for theirselves.

But Father God has restored us with new friends, business leaders and people we trust and respect and they trust and respect us.

Our stolen goods list long….

  • Houses
  • Cars
  • Boats
  • Money
  • Clothes
  • Health (from been under constant stress)
  • Medical Aid
  • Insurance
  • Holidays
  • Our Jobs
  • Our Name
  • Our Reputation
  • Food
  • And so much more
  • We almost wondered the simple things like our hairdresser! (long story), would be on our list, but she actually stood up for us and told some of her long time customers to leave and not come back. She believe and knew us.

We actually started sowing furniture and household items to others before we had them stolen. We would tell people just come get it if you need it.

But a strange emotion occurred when we started the list.

It started with the my Health, but if I trust God, God will take care of it. I was not going to let the devil steal more money from us again, because if we were spending money on Health then we were not standing on what God promises us.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
‭‭III John‬ ‭1:2‬

Ps 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Second on my list was my family’s health & stress related symptoms. I kept on hearing this quiet whisper: ” but my Son has paid the price for your healing.” 1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness– by whose stripes you were healed.

Another revelation! You don’t need to pay money for medication when Jesus paid the price in with His blood for your healing. This was hard after seventeen surgeries and health scares.

Next up was the houses and the cars:

God just said: If I’ve called you both to be a sojourner through this earthly land, din’t you need a house and a car? Yes, you do, but God provides all the way! The question God challenged us with was “did we trust God to provide a house and a car?”

Another issue sorted! God was taking them off our list at an alarming rate!

Our jobs, and everything. Insurance, money for college for our children. We had to learn to live by faith. We felt for us and our family, God was saying, I want you to rely on Me for your daily provision, and a roof over your head.

The name and the reputation was sorted out by when I found the following scripture:
Isaiah 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; …

It was a tough lesson to learn.

When the restoration word came, the Holy Spirit whispered: “do ya’ll really want to go back to the bondage of a salary, medical aid and insurance? Do you really want to trade all the lessons you have learned living by faith for a lifestyle of just enough (salary) and of having a backup Plan in case I do not come through?

Our response was: but what happens if it all gets stolen again?

This was not a good question to asked Father God!

“If the devil has stolen from you and you have learned to live by faith, you are able to faith it all back! And once again, I will restore more that the devil took! What have you really lost?” was quietly offered as an answer.

The devil cannot rob us of our Faith in God!

As the Holy Spirit made mince meat of all of our “stolen goods to be restored Seven Fold” points, the only thing we came up with was what had truly been stolen was Satan trying to make us doubt Father God’s abilities. By faith God could heal and replace all of the rest, we only had to believe. Was our relationship and Father Gods just proved to us once again that we did not know God well enough to trust Him to restore. Are the Satan just messing with our minds.

The devil has stolen many of our ours & the children’s relationships with family and friends.

Our list left us once again realizing:
Father God is only interested in His children’s and them living as Father God’s children.

Only when we had started “seeking first the kingdom of God” had we received the promise of seven fold restoration. Only once we started leading people to the Lord, praying for the sick, started preaching the good news of the Gospel, – all the things important to Father God, did the promise of restoration come. See, we had somewhere taken our eyes off of Father God, while thinking we were serving Him by helping others. But, the help Father God wanted us to do was not just material things, but more important, spiritual things.

Once our sights were focussed on what Father God saw as important, People, not just people, but where people would spend eternity, how we treated individuals, what words of life had come out of our mouth to sow life. He sorted out the rest.

All else comes down to our faith level in “Only Believe”

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The reality check was we experienced all Restoration seven fold to with all the lessons we have experienced since 1989 really needed to shift our thinking into “the mind of Christ” before thinking of “things to be added to us.

Now, we can truly look forward to God restoring each and every relationship, and *seven fold blessings of restoration!

And I can promise you that Father God will continue to restore many more because He promised He would restore seven fold all that the devil had stolen.

Do You Ever Just Get Tired?

Do You Ever Just Get Tired?
Author: Patricia Aman

We all at times grow weary of well-doing.

Men and Women both are prone to wearing themselves out by tirelessly taking care just life itself, until we no longer feel like we have an ounce left to give.

This is just one of the tactics Satan uses to try and stop us.

He tries to make us so BUSY with the nonessential things that we are too worn out for the important things.

Yes, B.U.S.Y.

I learned this sitting in a dear friends Sunday School Class. Jeff Oglesby at St. John PH Church.

Jeff’s words hit my spirit when he said, “we get to busy, “Being Under, Satan’s Yoke.”

God knows that we are often weary but know that He wants to give you His strength so that we can reflect His glory.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬

Paul tells us to live a life pleasing to God in all that we do. Someday we will give an account for every thought, word, and action while we lived on earth.

But when things get too busy, our lives can turn into turmoil and chaos. Then we weary ourselves running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off, trying to manage life on our own. And this affects everyone around us.

We start being irritated with just the little things that would usually not matter at all.

And I promise you that you will reap what you sow during those times.

Your actions will bite you in the backside.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

Even I had to learn the hard way that I didn’t always have the right spirit. Sometimes I would focus on things that weren’t important and it caused me hurt and heartache.

Remember when you stress over the things that Father God wants to handle for you, but we refused to let Him, is when our spirit is out of alignment.

When we spend more time with Father God and His Word it will encourage us when we feel like we are about ready to collapse and faint from well-doing with the wrong attitude.

We must remember to: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33-34‬ ‭
