Matthew 6: 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 \u201cAnd why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.<\/p>\n

“HEAVEN’S GROCERY STORE”<\/p>\n

As I got a little closer
\nthe door came open wide
\nAnd when I came to myself
\nI was standing inside.<\/p>\n

I saw a host of ANGELS.
\nThey were standing everywhere.
\nOne handed me a basket and said,
\n“My Child shop with care”.<\/p>\n

Everything a Christian needed
\nwas in that grocery store.
\nAnd all you couldn’t carry,
\nyou could come back the next day for more.<\/p>\n

First, I got some PATIENCE:
\nLOVE was in the same row.
\nFurther down was UNDERSTANDING:
\nYou need that everywhere you go.<\/p>\n

I got a box or two of WISDOM,
\na bag or two of FAITH.
\nI just couldn’t miss the HOLY GHOST,
\nFor it was all over the place.<\/p>\n

I stopped to get some STRENGTH and COURAGE
\nTo help me run this race.
\nBy then my basket was getting full,
\nBut I remembered I needed some GRACE.<\/p>\n

I didn’t forget SALVATION,
\nFor SALVATION was free,
\nSo I tried to get enough of it for me, and have enough left over to share Jesus with all I see.<\/p>\n

Then I started up to the counter
\nTo pay my grocery bill,
\nFor I thought I had everything
\nTo do the MASTER’S Will.<\/p>\n

As I went up the aisle, I saw PRAYER:
\nAnd I just had to put that in,
\nFor I knew when I stepped outside,
\nI would run into Sin.<\/p>\n

PEACE AND JOY were plenty
\nThey were last on the shelf.
\nSONG and PRAISE were hanging near,
\nSo I just helped myself.<\/p>\n

Then I said to the angel,
\n“Now, how much do I owe?”
\nHe smiled and said,
\n“Just take them everywhere you go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Again, I smiled and said,
\n“How much do I really owe?”
\nHe smiled again and said,
\n“MY CHILD, JESUS PAID YOUR BILL
\nA LONG, LONG TIME AGO.”<\/p>\n
