It\u2019s Beginning To Rain

When studying about the latter rain in the Bible we can give two examples of the latter rain. One interpretaion assumes the literal meaning and the other a spiritual meaning of the expression. The first one we would need to learn about the geographic settings and climate of Israel in relation to rain. Geographical settings of Israel has low rainfall and its soil is mainly composed of limestone and sandstone, so it is not easy to even find water underground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But, today we will look at the Spiritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen after I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. In those days, I will pour out my Spirit even on servants, men and women alike.\u201d Joel 2:28-29<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.\u201d Jeremiah 5:24<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Latter Rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The prophecy of the former rain was fulfilled by Jesus 2,000 years ago; on the day of Pentecost, Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon His disciples who had all joined together in Jerusalem constantly in prayer for ten days, after Jesus\u2019 resurrection and ascension. Then the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit occurred in the early Church; 3,000 people repented in a day, and from then on even more souls were saved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.\u2026 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit \u2026 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Acts 2:1-47<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Praise God, it is beginning to rain. Are you ready for the latter rain. Get ready children of God. Yes, it is beginning to rain. God is pouring His spirit on all who is prepared and ready to receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I truly believe the winds of the Holy Spirit are changing direction. The Holy Spirit is pouring the latter rains into the lives of all that are truly seeking God and God\u2019s will for their lives and churches everywhere.
God is calling His chosen people, and He is cleaning house, preparing for the latter rain to fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must remember that the Holy Spirit of the latter rain, which is granted at the time of spiritual harvest, is poured out upon those who are united and ready to receive it\u2019s abundantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those of us who have believe, and have marched the 7th time, and stood fast, we are going to see the latter rain fall. Just remember the smallest cloud can produce the largest rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Elijah said to Ahab, \u201cGo up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.\u201d So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, \u201cGo up now, look toward the sea.\u201d So he went up and looked, and said, \u201c There is nothing.\u201d And seven times he said, \u201cGo again.\u201d Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, \u201cThere is a cloud, as small as a man\u2019s hand, rising out of the sea!\u201d So he said, \u201cGo up, say to Ahab, \u2018Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.\u2019 \u201d Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. (I Kings 18:41-45 NKJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
