Garden Of Life

I have the poem \u201cThe Garden\u201d written in my Bible. I cannot remember where it came from, except my sister Ruby wrote it in the a Bible of mine that she borrowed for several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think she must have enjoyed the Bible, because it looks like she used it to study a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to get her to keep it, but, because it was given to me as a gift when I was ordained, she wanted me to have it back. I will cherish it for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galatians 6:1-10
Bear and Share the Burdens<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual
    restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest
    you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another\u2019s burdens, and so fulfill the law
    of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Be Generous and Do Good<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who
    teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap
    corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Squash Grumbling<\/li>
      2. Squash Selfishness<\/li>
      3. Squash Gossip<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Plant 4 rows of Lettuce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Lettuce be Faithful<\/li>
        2. Lettuce be Kind<\/li>
        3. Lettuce be Patient<\/li>
        4. Lettuce Love one another<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Plant 3 rolls of Turnips<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Turnip for Meetings<\/li>
          2. Turnip for Prayer and Church Service<\/li>
          3. Turnip to help each other and those in Need.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Plant 5 rolls of Thyme<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Thyme for God<\/li>
            2. Thyme for family<\/li>
            3. Thyme for others<\/li>
            4. Thyme for friends<\/li>
            5. Thyme for yourself<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Now daily, Water with Patience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Cultivate with Love<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Remember you will REAP what you SOW!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
