I have realized this week that gossip can really damage a person’s life.\u00a0 When people talk about situations without really knowing the facts, they can literally destroy a person.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
(Proverbs 6: 16-19) says, ” These six things the Lord hates, Yes, but the seventh is an abomination to Him.\u00a0 A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, and a false witness who speaks lies and one who sows discord among brethren .”<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0When we read these verses\u00a0 we can see that\u00a0 there are six things the Lord hates. They are: when we act proud, lie, hurt the innocent, premeditate evil, run to take part in wrong actions, and one who spreads gossip. He then says of all these things that the seventh is an abomination\u00a0 to Him, and that is when\u00a0one\u00a0 instigates problems between people.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0In our hurches today that seems to be the most common problem.\u00a0 I believe that alot of times it is caused by jealousy.\u00a0 If we would read this scripture and really think about it,\u00a0 I am sure it would stop so much discord among church members and the world as a whole.<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Do you understand that He is saying\u00a0\u00a0that to\u00a0sow discord is an abomination.\u00a0\u00a0Webster defines abomination as\u00a0intense aversion or loathing.\u00a0 He also describes loathing as a strong dislike\u00a0mingled with disgust.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Hey!!! Do you get this yet? God gets disgusted with us.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Even though He hates the first six, the seventh is the worst.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Yet, why are there so many churches who are losing members because they cannot keep their mouths shut?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We should be a shining light in our communities and lead the way for peace among brethren.\u00a0 So the next time you start to jabbering about someone else, you need to think about the life you may be destroying.<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Father God, I praise your Holy Name.\u00a0 I thank you that you have forgiven me of my sins.\u00a0 And Father God help me not to judge other people by their actions, but to let them see your actions in me.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
